I did the deed and traded my blue Sport for a gray Tremor

Drove through a small town today and the local Ford Dealer had a 21 Big Bend, 4 door, soft top, 2.3-10sp, catcus gray Bronco on the lot…like for sale…as in parked with their other 7 new vehicles for sale and it looked like you could drive it home for the $37,800 window sticker price….well not even close. It’s their “mannequin” program Bronco and sure you can put a deposit down on it if you like, but you can’t have it until the end of January! Mean time every Tom Dick and Harry can test drive it around until then. Oh and the real price of this 37k Bronco? $47,000.

Don't forget they have a big leakage problem with those roofs and have a major recall, if I recall correctly. Not sure if that's a pun and not sure if it was intentional.

Why knock somebody for doing what THEY want? Might be a zillionaire. Might be on his death bed and spending his last days in the truck he wants. You don't know his circumstances. I sure wouldn't call someone silly for it. ):

Congrats on the Tremor! I can’t believe a thread inspired you to come back to the roots of happiness for you. Pun intended. You can now get closer to God and enjoy your time reconnecting to nature. Sounds like you are going to have a great time adventuring with the 4x4 and remote reservoir fox suspension. Amazing.

Sorry to hear about the finance guy, things like that are part of the annoying dealership experience unfortunately. Wish it was different.

Ceramic tint is amazing! My tint shop had a heat lamp with different panels of tint on it. Ceramic was undoubtedly superior at heat reduction. I actually never feel the heat from the sun when I’m in the truck. This fact alone is so helpful for off-roading. Consider a very slight reduction in the front windshield, it helps a lot when going uphill against the sun on off-road hills. And the ceramic tint if top quality really doesn’t change much of the view. Then I go in the gf’s untinted vehicle and I can almost feel my skin bubbling. ?

This is what some ceramic tint looks like on the front windshield. I think I actually took it a bit deeper in reduction too. I forget the numbers, I am sorry. (BTW, who knows what makes a truck slanted driving straight like this? What components cause it to be mid aligned so badly. Never posted this photo until now so thought I’d ask haha)

We never get sick of going to Sedona and go up there often, sometimes just for a day drive to get away. It's been getting extremely crowded there now and traffic is really bad all day long through all the roundabouts. We now stay just outside out in Cottonwood which is only 15 minutes away and a lot cheaper too.

The topography here changes so much in such a short distance. We go to Flagstaff in the summer to escape the heat here in the valley. In a short 2 hour drive it will be mid 80's there and 108 down here. Sometimes there's still snow on the back side of Humphreys Peak. Would you drive or fly out?

The Princess and I spent part of our Honeymoon in Sedona, over 25 years ago! Had a great condo in Oak Creek Canyon above the creek. Loved it and the area. I was driving an awesome Cadillac coupe at the time that wasn't quite suited for the off-roading in the area.

price of used VS new....and i didnt see alot different on the packages.
even if there is, a $6000 difference doesnt make up for it. Who would buy the used one, unless you had to have the blue???

Some of my co-workers gave me crap for buying a new one instead of used back in April... I saw stuff exactly like this then and it's gotten worse. .

I just cant understand buying a used one at 90%-120% of the price of a new one...
