Nothing other than what was in my post. 2.5 level up front, 1.5 wheel spacers, mod rear crash bars, remove front ones. No rubbing.
When you say mod the rears, you mean cutting and trimming? Would love to see some pics underneath/wheel wells whenever you have time.

Sure no problem. First pic is the front and you can see they’re just gone. Next two pics are the rears simply cut and angled back out of the way. Also had to trim away some of my Husky mudflaps that stuck out. If I thought these bars were more important I could weld in a tab to fill that space and then they would be structural again. But my opinion is these are not overly important.

Dang my bad I did forget to mention the 2.5 level. I’m gonna say a tremor could fit them with the spacers (even just 1” ones) and crash bar mod/removal. The 285s are worth it!
Oh absolutely!! I love the 285’s! I’m gonna give it a shot and see if it’ll fit with the 1.5” spacer. I’m definitely fine with removing the crash bar or getting the high clearance ones.
Is it really a big deal if you remove those??

Oh Lord have mercy reference the previous debate as to whether these bars are important if you remove them or not lol. If you ask the Safety Committee on here it’s only a matter of time before your mother-in-law has crushed ankles, however I don’t see it that way. Overseas Rangers don’t have these and they still get good crash test ratings over there so…

these would even fit with a 1” wheel spacer if you don’t want your tire sticking out quite as far.

Ohhh so thats the forum question everyone hates LOL New on here so still figuring it out. On the Tacoma forum its "Whats the biggest tire size" LMAO

I agree, I'm not seeing a huge impact of removing them. However i can get the high clearance for like $150 so will see.

I wonder why Ford mades them removable. Why not a single beam that is 8 inches longer, insteaad of an extension that is easily removable, apparently with the only gain being slightly more tire clearance?

They designed them where they themselves (Ford) could easily delete them if necessary for larger tire fitment, i.e. Bronco Sasquatch package. Many refuse to see or admit this though I guess.

New to the Forum! What all did you need to do to clear these? I have the 2021 Lariat Tremor and I love the 285/70/17. Had them on my Tacoma. Would love to have them on my Tremor.
I have Nitto Trail Grapplers in that size on my truck. STX 4x4 tow package. They measure out to 33.1" tall tire. 2.5" leveling kit, no spacers, crash bars removed. Zero rub at full lock or off road.

I can't believe the hard on for the crash bars by some in here. I suppose they never exceed the posted safe speed limit or anything "for our safety". I don't see people ragging on people who lift or raise their trucks for changing the engineered impact height of the bumpers an changing the impact angles. Making it more top heavy changing the engineered center of gravity for roll over tests. Tint your driver an passenger door windows? you just altered the vision out of the vehicle.

I don't plan on removing mine but I'm not gonna judge anyone else's decision. That's the beauty of freedom (while we still have it).

I also wonder if a taller wider tire spreads the impact out an dissipates the impact better. This could explain the raptor an bronco with bigger tires having them removed.

I did a quick search but didn't see a stand alone safety crash rating for a raptor to compare to a standard f150. This might provide a real world answer, at least on that platform.

Can't speak for others. But for me it's not about safety so much as liability.

I have a minor safety concern, but mostly just don't want to lose my ass due some perceived need for wider tires.

That's cool. I say let you be you an I hope you enjoy your truck. I tell a lot of people with tinted windshields that. I looked into it since I wear glasses an don't always have prescription sunglasses with me an the guy that was going to do it said if you stay really light the cops usually don't say anything but if you get into an accident expect to be sued because your vision was reduced an you didn't have the correct reaction time. Unfortunately people that sue for anything an everything usually get paid at least something just to go away. It's cheaper to give them a few grand to go away than to fight it, even when you're in the right.

One thing there isn't a supply chain shortage of is ambulance chasing lawyers.

so...in saying this....are you actually admitting the Bronco was the master plan all along with this frame and it was designed differently long before the Ranger entered the picture...they pre planned this by making the Pre Bronco Ranger frame different than the European version, so there really is no way to connect the safety rating of the euro model compared to the NA model?
just need some verbal diarrhea confirmation.....
No clue what you’re trying to spew here.. I don’t speak French-Canadian.

Was going to go with a smaller size but I thought go big or go home. These look absolutely amazing. My tire Boner will not go down.

Yes I completely removed the front crash bars and heavily modified the rear crash bars; so what, my other vehicle is an 87 GMC truck with no airbags and only one working seatbelt so obviously safety is not my top priority.

Yes a tire of this size will also fit in the spare location.

Yes I have faction Fab 1.5 spacers from our good friends at Stage 3 motorsports on as well.

No, at least on my truck, you do not have to do anything with the TPMS system, it resets itself.

can you itemise them please?
maybe do a graph? pie chart?
i think your claim is horseshit and not even close to the truth. be nice to see it in a fact base form.
your personal view of me is pointless to make since i dont care.
Sure feels like you care.. your like that birthmark on my leg, no matter what you’re always there, and just as useless. Seriously, is there a thread on here you HAVE’NT posted on? And 90% of the time said virtually nothing.. No one likes attention more than you.
