285 70 17 Wildpeaks are on!!!

Was going to go with a smaller size but I thought go big or go home. These look absolutely amazing. My tire Boner will not go down.

Yes I completely removed the front crash bars and heavily modified the rear crash bars; so what, my other vehicle is an 87 GMC truck with no airbags and only one working seatbelt so obviously safety is not my top priority.

Yes a tire of this size will also fit in the spare location.

Yes I have faction Fab 1.5 spacers from our good friends at Stage 3 motorsports on as well.

No, at least on my truck, you do not have to do anything with the TPMS system, it resets itself.

Looks great! That is the size I am going to eventually switch to as well. Can’t decide if I want to buy new wheels or just go with spacers. I already have aftermarket crash bars ready to go when I make the switch.

No not at all they’re just P series. No reason to get the heavy duty ones. 50 lbs each in this size.

I honestly have no idea but I’ll tell you what, people stress about these but anybody who wants a big tire should definitely look at this size. I don’t have a tune or anything and my engine does not feel sluggish after installing these. My Speedo is off of course but only by 3 mph at 50 (when speedometer shows you’re doing 50, you’re actually doing 53mph). I could not be happier. Yes at least 1 inch wheel spacers would be required to put these on though I’m pretty sure.

This is my second set I’ve bought of these Wildpeaks in so many weeks. My first it was 33 11.50 15s ‘s for my 87 square body. I’ve mentioned this before but they average road balanced out to an 18 number, anything under 40 is considered exceptional. These P series 17 inch ones for the Ranger averaged out to a 10 road force number! so they are super true and high-quality.

Yeah, they look like the perfect size imo. Just received my 1" coil spacers & going to or order wheel spacers. After everything is installed think I'm just gonna move into the 285's

You really should IMO. I believe Tremors should have came with this tire size from the factory. I really thought there would be more drawbacks like sluggishness, wallowness etc. mpg will drop I’m sure but that will be the only drawback. Pic really don’t do the look justice, has tp be seen in person.

make sure you place a disclaimer sticker in the passenger seats so your passengers know their safety has been compromised.

I'd bet good money Ford' lawyers made sure they safety tested the sasquatch setup . Did you test /certify yours ?
