Looking for some advice or a workaround. Purchased airlift 5000 ultimate to install on my 2021 ranger tremor. Came across a problem with the upper bracket hitting the fox shock gas chamber. Contacted airlift they were of no help and said well I guess it doesn’t fit that truck. I am probably going to return it I was hoping they would give me a workaround. Has anyone installed air lift or another type of airbag that works on the tremor? I have attached pictures of the issue. Any thoughts?

Looks like its just contacting, I would honestly notch the mount brackets for the air bag. Make a cardboard template that matches the mount plates and cut a notch in that so that it will clear and look good, then copy that onto the metal brackets and notch them. It looks like there's enough material there.

Retired, work is a four letter word.
1st thing that came to mind was also to cut the bracket to clear the shock, remembering the shock body will pivot front to back slightly when it compresses, but that should not be an issue as you're worried about sis to side movement. I would just belt off the side of the bracket to the mounting hole leaving enough to clear the bolt.

If you decide to go with airbags I suggest Firestone RideRite Air Bags. I have them on my F150 and many RV'ers use them. They are the same brand used on semi trucks as well.

Yes that is my next option but I like the air ride because it has the bump stop built-in you can run on the airbags at zero psi.

I think I’m gonna go ahead and cut the mounting bracket to clear the shock, Then drill out another hole closer to the bag Mount. I only have to do this on the passenger side, the driver side shock is the opposite direction and will not be in the way. I will tackle this project next week.

Ok, Airlift installed with slight modification. Driver side installs as instructed, its just the passenger side that I had the issue with the fox shocks. I held the bracket in-place an scribed a line to clear the shock with the articulation at its max in both compression and extension to make sure to have enough clearance. Did have to drill another hole since I cut the factory hole out. See pics below. All set up and functions properly.

Thank you hopefully this post will help someone else out that decides to put airbags on a Tremor.
Well, for me not exactly a Tremor or Fox, but we may be in the same boat

I have a '19 Lariat with Air Lift Air bags installed. This weekend I planned to install King 2.5 in the rear with the same piggyback style reservoir. Glad I came across this thread now. We will see how it fits. At least it won't be a surprise if it rubs, and I will notch it if needed
