Hey all.

I installed a set of rear airbags into my FX4Max (Australian Tremor). The kit was from airbagman.com with Firestone airbags and simple installation. There were no problems with clearance of any components but it does look like Aus and US have very different suspension setups in the rear despite the Fox package.

Cheers

Looks good. I wanted to buy their set up but don’t think they sell/ship them here in the states.

Looking at installing airbags on my Tremor and have a few questions,
- does the internal bumpstop reduce the uptravel of the axle so it is less than stock? If so, by how much?
- Did you attach the bottom of the air bag to the axle or can you leave it floating in order to maintain max axle travel extension?
- Are you still happy you went with the Airlift airbags with the internal bump stop over the regular version or even the Firestone airbags?
- Did it affect the ride when there is "0" air pressure in them?
Thanks in advance.

- Did you attach the bottom of the air bag to the axle or can you leave it floating in order to maintain max axle travel extension? If you want to do this, use Daystar cradles, it will reduce uptravel, but worth it for off roading
- Are you still happy you went with the Airlift airbags with the internal bump stop over the regular version or even the Firestone airbags? Yessir
- Did it affect the ride when there is "0" air pressure in them? About the same as stock. Sometimes I run it without a valve, sometimes with and zero pressure, sometimes 5-10 psi for mild load, 55 psi for full bed towing pop up trailer

Thanks in advance.

Ok, Airlift installed with slight modification. Driver side installs as instructed, its just the passenger side that I had the issue with the fox shocks. I held the bracket in-place an scribed a line to clear the shock with the articulation at its max in both compression and extension to make sure to have enough clearance. Did have to drill another hole since I cut the factory hole out. See pics below. All set up and functions properly.

Please: Where is the new hole drilled for the removed bracket material?

I would have to look again, I believe you just need to bolt the two plates together. Anywhere you can get a wrench on it.
