No, tire and wheel theft is not a big think here in the upper Midwest. My opinion on wheel locks is they only slow Down the rookies anyway. Pipe that slips over them and a 4 pound sledge. Bam, snap the stud. Just a bigger pain when you need to rotate tires.

Right, nothing is fool proof and a thief can get around any device to prevent such. They usually hit when and where your not expecting them. I put them on in the hope that this extra step will help deter an attempt. Someone tried to break out the driver's door lock on my previous Ranger in a Gym parking lot during the daytime. I have become very careful when and where I park now

You just gotta laugh at the whole thing. 2nd spring didn't show up today, go and check on E-bay to see what's up. Yep, paid for 2, correct amount and everything. Shipping says my third of three spring has shown up and was delivered and the first two won't show up till the 7th but they are on their way. Wonder if two more will actually show up. Stay tuned.......

Are you aware that it specifically states "righty tighty, lefty loosey" to take the old one off and install the new one ? Even has pictures to show the right way !

So when I bought the truck, the dealer forgot to install the antenna mast. Didn't notice until I got home (an hour away from the dealer). Emailed the salesman and they said they would mail one out to me.
I watched a few YouTube videos, read the directions in the owners manual before it came so I was ready to install it. That made the stubbie a piece of cake

AUTOSTOP Eliminator installed

Finally pulled the trigger on an AUTOSTOP Eliminator that came in the mail yesterday. What I like about this device is that you plug it into the AS/S line and your done. Don’t have to unplug it to disengage it. It is controlled from the AS/S switch on the console panel. It remembers the last setting and remains there until it is changed again from the console switch. The instrument panel "notification" as well as the console switch "off light" continue to work the same as before it is installed . The device does not make any setting changes or adjustments to the AS/S system. Easy installation. I think this device will be a plus to enable only when in a traffic jam that is movely very slowly.

The seller's customer service and response time is outstanding. They are totally customer oriented.

Over the next few days, int he mail I have the "Undercover SwingCase" boxes coming in, center console/ armrest "shelf" thing and, sunday, picking up a bakflip tonneau cover.
I may or may not have found a pair of steps for the supercab too.
