Yeah boost leaks are not good! If you felt it snuggly going in you should be fine. I guess there was no hope with light oil on the original one? Can you visibly see a difference in the bore size for the sensor or measure with calipers? You'd think mishimoto would be aware of such an issue. On another note, you can buy boost leak testers for fairly cheap. I have one for the many stages of upgrades my Subaru STi has gone through. Funny enough I never did use it as those cars are so damned cramped to work on. I'm not sure if the Ranger setup would allow you to use one without much hassle.And...the O-ring on the MAP sensor is too thick for the unit to fit snug against the intercooler housing. Went over to ACE and picked up a thinner version and fits nicely and I can "feel" Oring snugging in. Sent question to Mishimoto describing the issue and what I replaced OEM Oring with and asked if it would be an issue - rather find out before I restart engine than afterwards LOL!!![]()

I have few rules I placed for myself in their corvette, no laying into throttle, no ego show offs, no going above 90, and definitely no 0-60 times. I drive like a saint in their Corvette, well anyone's personally owned vehicle.
Okay maybe I don't listen to myself with the no above 90, but generally I stick to less than that. Just a few times maybeeee I tested a few things. For science.
