Hello folks.. Name's Wayne. Just purchased a 2021 XLT Supercab here in the east coast of Canada. Previously owned two Toyota T-100's and purchased an Escape in 2014. I missed owning my trucks so I decided after due diligence to purchase the Ranger. Am pretty pleased so far. Sure good to be in a truck again. I love doing my own upgrades so there will be more to come.

Nice Truck! Having gone through the "what did you do to your ranger today" thread from start to finish, here are my favorite mods. My goal was stock+. I'm not going to throw an exhaust or intake on yet, nor did I want to dramatically alter appearance.

Wolfhaus 12v outlet in bed - uses harness on every truck to give a little 12v outlet using a factory opening at the top of the bed. 2 minute install.

LED bulb replacements (bed/reverse lights are a no brainer. I also did fender markers and fogs. Debating low and hi beams, but need to drive in dark more before deciding)

Start-X. This is a $100 box that lets you use the factory fob with remote start by hitting lock-unlock-lock

Carlinkit - this is a little box that plugs in and gives you wireless carplay (otherwise you have to plug in every time).

Tailgate damper (if you didn't include it on your custom order)

DirkM makes a wireless charging tray that is a great combo with the carlinkit

Putco lower grille - expensive, but looks nice. Front of the truck seems quite bare without.

Forscan - with an OBD2 dongle and the forscan software you can modify settings and unlock features. My favorites are disabling amplified engine noise, double panic button to set off (neighbors like that one), enable speed limit sign recognition, enable off road angle gauges.

Terrain management switch - combined with a setting in forscan, gives you the FX4 off-road and terrain management modes

Beyond that, it's the standard things. Bed liner, cover, floormats, bug deflector, etc. You can spend days picking any of those.

Good luck and happy modding

Retirement IS great, except...
Retirement=more excess time.
Excess Time=More time at the puter.
More Time at the puter=more time googling for "stuff"
Finding "stuff"=buying "stuff"
Buying "stuff"=one pissed off spouse !
One pissed off spouse=more nice dinners out, and telling her that the "stuff" is necessary !
Which leads too more "honey doo's". :like:

One really nice thing about being retired...your never in a rush to do something. There's no real time constraint on finishing something. You can devote as much time as you need to finish a project, and you don't have to worry about going to work and having to leave a task uncompleted till "next" weekend.
I actually find I'm busier than before I retired.
