@BladeRanger was that you I waved at driving 805 south at 4pm? I was shadow black ranger with raptor vinyls.
Not me, I was home doing some chores. I have been seen a lot of Ranger lately, though. It's a good thing that our truck is getting more more popular.

Ahh. He had a very similar look to you and had the same color lifted ranger. I agree, it’s great to be able to wave at other rangers. I am sure one day we will pass each other

A buddies grandfather use to tell a story that he would take a horse and carriage into town to get drunk and on the way home would go to sleep. He'd wake up with the horse standing in front of the barn.
Like the song says: "?? The horse knows the way to carry the sleigh...?".

My partner has given a DUI to someone on a riding mower before, but this was after numerous warnings for this gentleman to not be traveling down main roads on it. There is also a reason this particular repeat customer is not driving a car. Can you guess what?

I've seen what cars can do to riding mowers. It ain't pretty, even in low impact collisions.

Same reason we issue permits for golf carts to ride city streets, but they cannot use them on main roads. They can cross main roads from one city street to another, but using your golf cart to go down a 55mph road ain't too bright.
I live in cottage/retirement community and golf carts are common, because "I can't get a DUI in a golf cart" idiots. One in particular has 15 inch wheels on it. It accelerates like a Taco, but if you have the room to get it up there, top end is ~40mph.

Look at some idiot who slammed opened their door. It’s a huge dent… this is going to be expensive. The world is full of idiots. I’ll park super far away from here on out. Pretty sure it was on purpose without a doubt, that’s a hard opening of a door

Try one of the hot glue pullers first: As long as paint is not chipped, they’re pretty capable, although you’ll probably have to work it a few times. OTOH, you can’t hurt it!

Ahh yes the PDR guy tried this and pulled out only a little, the dent was deeper than the photo looks. Appreciate the help! I was amazed seeing one of those hot glue pullers, very capable looking indeed.

I’m sorry that happened. It is ridiculous. But honestly there’s no running from it. I had a C6 a few yrs back and id park in the very back of the lot wherever I’d go. A lot of times the lot would be pretty empty and I’d come back out to someone intentionally parked as close as they could in the next space over. In vacant lots, in the back! Just doing it out of spite honestly. It is ridiculous and that’s the way the world goes round. That’s a severe case though. Wow.

I'm starting to hate parking lots... Someone hit my bumper and tail light recently. I don't realize how expensive tail lights with blind spot sensors really are until this happen. Side steps are doing a good job protecting the doors.

Thank you for the comment. I hear you on not being able to run from it. Haters gonna hate. Can’t do much about that. Yeah it was quite… spiteful IMO. But a day or two of blood boiling, it being fixed and I’m over it. No point getting mad at losers of the world.

Oh no, was it a hit and run too? I’m sorry to hear. What was the cost of it and by chance have a picture of the damage? I also want side steps, good to hear those are putting in work.

Basically, I come back to my truck ~40 min later and that happened. The store have a few security cameras but I cannot see my truck because they only capture the first parking spots of each row near the entrance. It is minor damage in my opinion as I can use the truck. I have a hole in the tail light and a crack that goes all the way up. It is filled with water this week as it have been raining were I live, I'm not sure how long the blind spot sensor will survive under water. The side of the bumper was pushed against the bed as well. It look better after a pull.

The cheapest tail light I found on internet was $450 for a used unit, New can be found from $800 to $1200. I choosed to go to the insurance and pay the $500 deductible and let them fix all.

A few years ago I probably will not care about this but this is my first brand new vehicle and I want to keep it in good shape.

Dang, it always seems there are cameras around but not positioned in the most favorable spots for our incidents. Makes sense you went through insurance, yeah its a bummer for sure but at least it will look brand new again. I feel your frustration, this was my first nice new vehicle as well. If it happened on my beater car in the past, not that much anger. On the beautiful Ranger? Different story.
