Even better is you can do it at full articulation. No need to be on a flat surface and it re-connects when you hit 20 mph. A lot of great engineering went into this.
The stuff of wizards and voodoo.

many americans woke up this morning not knowing they will have less than ten fingers by tonight.

Almost bought a Bronco sport yesterday. We had our Edge serviced and my wife saw one in the parking lot that someone owned, so she thought she'd like to have one. I called a lot of dealers and no one had one we could even test drive, let alone buy. That was disappointing.

Even so, she wanted out of the Edge...and we came home last night with a Honda CR-V...first Honda we've ever owned. Pray for us... ;)

One thing that Ford really did well with this new Bronco was get a lot of professional racers involved with the design and engineering. Guys like Von Gittin jr and Curt LaDuc. There are several Youtube videos where they tell their story on their involvement and also how surprised they were driving the Bronco at King of Hammers back in January. A few even admitted they thought some of these thing were going to be "gimmicky" but after using them they said it even helps them in certain situations.

There's a lot of cool tech like one peddle driving where you set it and as soon as you lift off the gas it brakes on it own. Great for rock crawling on a hill where you don't have to worry about slippage from braking now.

Agreed. Gimmicky or not, some of the tech is awesome. Bronco has pit braking as an option. That's next level too.

We traded or 17 KIA Sportage in April for a CR V also first Honda owned. 3500 miles in we like it a lot. Getting 31 & 32 mpg. Still have the Ranger love it. :like:

Dang. In your shoes I would’ve done a LOT to make the Bronco work out. Though I understand about not getting to test drive and issues with availability. Now if only my wife said she wanted one!

What was the issue with the Edge?

That's an easy one. Keep showing her pictures and videos of them and soon enough she'll be convinced that you she needs one. lol ;)

Only with her personal customizations she chooses. That gets them every time. Popup dash mirrors in park are a huge draw…

Says no one ever!?
You have to use reverse psychology. ;)

It might take some time but point out how great those 360 cameras are, or how nice those marine grade vinyl seat would be so the kids don't trash them as they wash right out. Even better is you can take the top and doors off and we can go for a nice moonlight drive together, park somewhere secluded off road and look up at the stars. ?

C'mon Terry, you of all people should've perfected this by now! ?

?

Great idea!

It was enough to get her to convert her to Ford. Not sure how far I’ll get with Bronco subliminal messaging. ?

She did like the toy-box prototype display we saw a few months ago. Might be time to get creative.
