Daaannngggggg! Somebody’s got good taste! Beautiful vehicles! :turkey:
Thanks Tracy !!! As you can see, I like Blue Ovals. (except Mustangs don't have them) Of course, Ford makes direct deposits to my retirement account, so I might be a little biased.

To everyone else.

Look who got a dancing turkey from Tracy.:handsinair:

Went to a farm store about 40km (25miles) away and picked up ~800kg (1760lbs) minerals, vitamines & supplements. Handled the load nicely (note, modded rear suspension for 960kg).

Things didn't start well as when I was leaving to the store, as a garbage truck was picking up the trash and while avoiding the collector I backed one wheel to a 1m (3ft) deep ditch. This was due to the road indication stick for snow plows was not placed to the corner of the opposite junction. Anyway, switched to 4WD and smiled away from the ditch :)

After dropping the stuff at stables I cruised around the farm in the mud. Hosed down the car when I got back home.

P.S. How do you slide the damn "over the bed" bars?!?! Tried key, tried pushing the underside button to no avail. Had to load the stuff by hand instead just dropping the palled with a forklift.

I'll answer myself :giggle:

1. Remove cover
2. Loosen bolts
3. Move
4. Tighten bolt
5. Replace cover.

That works for the Thule roof racks, which are like standard and have the Allen wrench sockets on the side and takes seconds to remove. These mountain top cargo carriers are bolted with two bolts under the locked cover. Have to put some feedback over there that these things need quick release clamps or something.

Seems like a hassle to bolt stuff in or out based on daily needs. Today I needed to carry a pallet, tomorrow I might need to haul skiis (ok, snow's gone, that won't happen until next autum) or bike or something.

This thing seems to need perforated steel bars bolted on the sides as rails with quick release pins to lock stuff into it. Maybe add few tie hooks into it also.. and..

In the morning, stopped at the local gas station for coffee and rolls with the local crowd.
In the afternoon, went to town. Got a hair cut, went to coffee shop.
Then stopped at the office for about 1.5 hrs. Quitting time comes pretty quick when ya get to the office at 3:30! :)

True North made a trip to Home Depot for a few things. I came out of the store to a Jeep Rubicon flexing on me - I felt better about it when I got the “Great looking truck” comment from the owner.

I was feeling pretty cocky after that but while I was in the loading area, True North’s bigger, taller, meaner brother rolled up and put me in my place. ?
