So it finally happened yesterday... Saw my first Ranger on the road! Took me a sec to process what it was considering they are still not super common. It was A lighting blue XLT 4x2 with the chrome package. Didn't have much time to react but I gave the guy a honk and

Hey geoff whats the status of your truck? I think we are about on the same schedule.
My Ranger is In Transit as of yesterday. :)
I live about 9 hours from the MAP and it'll take 13 days to get here (so Ford says).
Delivery Date changed from 3/3 to 3/6.
These trains need turbo charging....(especially for the left coasters) :)

My truck is probably going on a different train since it has to go outside philly. Mine is still waiting to ship. Good luck i hope you get it soon.

I keep track on the Blue Oval forums. They hit 550 I believe on one shift. Been a number of small issues that have affected the amount rolled out per shift. I am sure some of these issues couldn't be duplicated building the smaller number of pre-production units. Spent 10 years at the dealer level ordering Ford vehicles. I don't ever remember it being quite like this...lol!
@SRAces thanks, I found one with Fuzzymoomoo and Wildosvt they put out some good information on the production rates, still having some factory line hiccups but overall looks like things are picking up, now for the transportation system to catch up as well.

I feel your pain. But keep in mind that they didn't start building them until right after thanksgiving. Normally they are going to build units first for dealer stock and then start mixing in the retail sold orders. Go online to https://shop.ford.com/inventory/ranger/?gnav=footer-shop and look yourself. I just had Google up in another browser and looked up zip codes to plug in with a max 100 miles radius to see what was available. That's how I found my Lightning Blue Ranger. Told my dealer where it was. He said he would look through his locator tools as well for others. Told him he wouldn't find another one built east of the Mississippi. He said I was right...lol!
Just a heads up, if you want to expand your search I figured out that you can go up into the URL in your browser and change the 100 miles to 500 miles. Can also change the zip code from there.

Very nice... mine has arrived finally at the rail transfer yard, so it's only 4 hours away, but they have up to 14 days to get it here on a truck, what the heck... lol

Yep! Even found a FX4 too

Congrats! I'm guessing there will be others ditching their orders and buying out of dealer stock soon. I hope to be one soon.

The general manager of my store that I am dealing with is about as furious as I am for the lack of feedback on the status of my Ranger. It showed a build date of 3/11/2019 after we removed the keypad. Still no VIN#, Simply amazing! I have zero confidence my truck is going to be built at this point without a VIN# assigned.
I have a build date of 3/11/2019, have had the vin number for two or three weeks. ordered 4x4 super crew lariat which looks about like what you ordered. it was ordered Dec 3rd 2018 . now been 12 weeks and still no change other than in order processing. almost ready to buy one off a dealer lot somewhere.

I'm not getting that Hot Pepper Red one that keeps getting delayed. Found a Lightning Blue one with the same options that is built and was ordered by a dealer about 60 miles away. My ordering dealer has already traded them a white loaded Ranger to get the Lightning Blue that is mine once it shows up.

Yeah, I've been doing that for weeks. I'm a bit picky-I don't want 4x4, don't want running boards, don't want ebony interior, etc. I also just learned from another thread that you can go the the URL and replace "100" with "500" and search for a 500 mile radius. I will be searching a LOT this weekend. Maybe even go buy one if I find one to my liking. I've been waiting since 8/25 through 2 dealers and 2 orders. ROVP was supposed to get the orders in ahead of dealer stock. From my experience, that was not the case.

Just got my VIN from the dealer. He wasn't volunteering any information, I had to pull it out of him by texts.

rangerdanger (congrats on your new truck), please update my info on the list:

VIN: 28904
Dealer wasn't sure about build date but he said "estimated to be done on April 8th, should be here by April 21st, maybe a few days later."

Ford tracker site says "In Order Processing" and Delivered Est. 4/14/2019. Since I have a VIN, where can I find the window sticker with the blend date?
