I just had my ranger at a shop for a muffler delete and this down pipe installed. He did the muffler delete but told me he couldn’t get the bolts to break or the O2 sensors out. It looks like I’m going to have to do this myself. Any tips?

Get your favorite lubricant out and spray it every few hours. You can also gently tighten it up a bit to see if it budges at all then go in the opposite direction, just be gentle and patient. If you have a torch, heat up the area around the sensor as well.

I used some Kroil liberally on the 3 downpipe bolts and O2. Let it soak a while then hit them again. Then I used a cheater bar to get the leverage to break the DP bolts loose. Definitely was not able to budge them with out a cheater bar. Even then I exerted maximum effort and I’m not a small guy. I don’t know how much force I used but it was substantial. They finally broke loose.
O2 did not require the cheater bar.
