Front Tow Hooks - Red

OK...I was looking at Maggie today and wondering what she would look like with RED front tow hooks. I thought about painting the factory hooks but then if I didn't like the look I would have to paint them back.....or I could just buy the factory RED hooks and not worry about painting.
I was wondering if anyone has the RED hooks with Magnetic....if so, can you please post a picture or two to help me decide if I want to go this route?

I thought about dipping my factory ones in some red plasti-dip. The chances that my tow hooks get used is fairly low. And if they do and it gets messed up. Peel it off and do it again.

It's so you can find them. Because they're hard to see sticking out at the front like that.

To each his own. Why do people do tailgate letters, decals, side vents, etc, etc.? Everyone has they’re own idea of what looks good and what mod’s make they’re truck unique and they’re own.

After about 6 months the lame satin black from the factory was all chipped off from road-rash. I debated dropping them off and have them rhino liner coated, my local guy quoted me $25 each and wanted them for about a week to do with a larger job. Thought that sounded fair then I was in my local Meijer store and saw that Dupli-color makes a near match rattle can match to magnetic metallic [on sale at the time for $5.99 per can. I did them last summer and coated with a 1k gloss clear also rattle can from my body supply store. Its held up rather well and I've got about $20 total in it. The few rock chips I've gotten are easily brush touched up with the ford t/u clear.

Buy a small roll of red vinyl wrap. It'll be enough to wrap them many times over. It takes about 15 minutes each one to wrap in the vinyl, so when they get beat up from road rash (or using them), you can just re-wrap. It can make a nice accent piece on the front of the truck.

I think the red tow hooks look good, that's the reason I added them. I am not trying to please anyone but me, nor joining any club regardless of how cool the kids are.

It started in road racing because red is easier to find in a wreck lol...
