Highly! What you're missing is the extra hp and torque that we dampered ones have found. ?

Seriously though it's not like the tailgate is heavy but it's a nice mod when your hands are full and you need to lower it. Instead of dropping everything or just letting it crash down it will drop slowly. Just another nice feature like power windows or door locks.

WARNING: After prolong use this will be your new look. ?
I think I'll order two! I don't even own a Ranger(yet) but it would be nice to have a full head of hair again!

So, best option purchase is Gorilla tape?
I would say it works great.

After removing the tabs from the backs of my Taasca scuff plates, I sanded them with one of those flat scuffing wheels attached to my right angle grinder. Once I washed the backsides with some automotive paint reducer left over from a fender repaint on the wife's previous vehicle, the tape stuck to them.

When it comes to regretful purchases, I bought a couple different sets of blind spot mirrors before I settled for a third set that I liked.

I ended up with a couple round ones from Walmart. :D I bought some rectangular ones that pivot from Amazon and accidentally damaged one while preparing to install it. My fault.

I then bought some non pivot rectangular mirrors from an auto parts store, don't even remember which one. They're kinda small and I think it takes my eyes too long to focus on them.

I had round blind spot mirrors on my '01 Bullitt GT and I got used to them after driving it for 19 years, so might as well stick to what works.

I regret buying 87 octane the first time that I towed my camper. 93 does so much better.

Oh, I think you had gone to the Dark Side waaaaayyyyyy before you converted me to the subjugated role of 'enforcer of the forced'.

For those of you waiting, you don't know the power of the Damper SideI I must obey my master, The Dave.

I regret buying ICON shocks for rear when FOX shocks could not be had 6 months ago. I could have purchased ANY other shock and it would have been fine but FOX uses progressive valving and ICON uses digressive valving. When I'm going slow my front end feels good and my back end feels bad. When going fast my back end feels good and my front end feels bad.

Lesson learned: pick one brand and stick with it all around.

It's not a horrible experience by any means, but I am haunted by the knowledge that this is dumb and the better thing is right within reach.

Of course it's because they're lazy--I just wish they'd do what they're supposed to do instead of putting quick shine on the tires instead. I don't want the quick shine, it's gonna look like crap in a couple of days, but they're dead certain that selling cars must involve some kind of show involving quick shine and a bell. Honestly, I wish I could just buy a car from amazon or something so I don't have to deal with a dealer at all.
