I’ve installed Euro towing towing mirrors on my US Ranger need help

Hello all. I Have installed a set of tow mirrors bought from Eagle 4x4 in the U.K. The mirrors fit fine, but the plugs are different. My next project will be to get the mirrors working completely, which I assume would mean power adjustment, blind spot indicators, and turn signals.

Can anyone help me with diagrams of the U.S. and Euro spec mirror harness? I have been lurking here for a while and know there are some folks who work or worked at Ford so I’m hoping someone has tips for me. Thanks in advance.

I do understand the reasoning for these but I have to be honest..... They don't look that good on these trucks... I wish there was a better option. Now i can get you the US diagram soon but the European diagram I can get.

Thanks Frenchy. I do a lot of towing so while I agree they aren’t sexy they were necessary. Not many options out there for these trucks

Do the mirrors even have Blind spot indicators in them? I've looked and haven't seen any that have, many even mention that they don't. I don't think XLTs have turn indicators in the mirrors so you will need to run your own wires for those. Probably no power fold either.

I could live with the looks but they do seem to stick out a bit far even when in. Losing the BLIS is a no go for me along with power fold for narrow parking spots. I'll stick with my clamp-ons for now till someone comes up the a fully functional US version.

Over the past five years, the market for vehicle/trailer camera systems has grown tremendously. For my own use, I don’t believe they are reliable enough to replace mirrors. At the same time, though, there is movement toward replacing all external mirrors with cameras. When they are reliable enough to be accepted by the various regulatory agencies (NHTSA, etc.) cameras will replace mirrors.

Update. The mirrors, while kind of homely, are far superior to the ones that came on the truck. I’m very happy with the view from the regular and blind spot mirrors. Now the bad: my truck KNOWS the mirror harness is unplugged and is yelling at me from the gauge cluster. I need to mess around with a 12v power source and see if I can identify what the wires in the mirrors do, find out if they even have BLIS since that is what is pissing my truck off.
Turn signals will come later.

Did you get any more progress on the mirrors? I'm looking into purchasing a set for my Ranger, but I don't have to worry about the BLIS on mine.

And I have never supported form over function. You have a need and these fill it!

HERE is the male connector body. This link should also point you top the correct pins. Search for the Molex p/ns to find it at a realistic price. THESE guys are crazy, but have good pictures.
I think THIS is what the pin looks like. Again these guys have crazy prices and they use there own part numbers, so ignore those. I got my pins off Amazon actually!
