Remember that the tailgate locks when you lock your doors. I guess this is added piece of mind but I'm in such a habit of always locking my doors I don't see the need for this. Plus on the Ford app you can always lock your doors.

Thank you for the clarification. I always lock my truck and I have a tonneau cover so it may help a little. Not so much! You are right about the additional measure of security for peace of mind.

Any thoughts on repairing a scratch in powder coat?

How about some black wrinkle paint? I know VHT makes some. Maybe Rust-Oleum?

Two letters from Ford, one advising me of an 18,000 mile service and one trying to get me to buy an extended warranty. No on the extended warranty and no on the 18,000 mile service, it gets an oil change at 20,000, can not find what service would be due at 18,000.
And new replacement plates, wow, they sure are bright.

Picked up pivot tool box for passenger side. Don't know when I'll get to the install.

Friday wife went into full cardiac arrest and needed CPR until paramedics arrived. Had ICD implanted yesterday and I brought her home today.
