7/9 purchased used 26k miles, also came pre-scatched so I don't have to OCD about a new vehicle, it's kind of freeing
7/16 Spray in bedliner by Bedliner Veterans, Gilbert, AZ
7/17 WeatherTech mudflaps
7/20 BAK MX4 bedcover
7/21 Maxliner floor mats and cabin air filter

Spent an hour at discount tire! ( I am not a paid spokesperson for them I promise lol )
I had a blowout tuesday at midnight coming home from work, 2 out of my 4 OE tires had already been patched, and the one to blowout was one of the two patched previously. Threw on my full size spare and went on my way. Decided to go with BFG AT's in LT265/70/17

My wallet is crying from having to replace 5 tires at once, but I am confident these will serve me as well as they did when I had them on my TJ wrangler years back.

Cant get images to load due to size..?? says pictures too large to upload to the forum apparently, so click below for pics :p

truck raised on lift
new shoes installed
better angle 1
Frontal view/check out the shitty renters next to me and their overgrown yard

Welp, after lots of waiting, she’s finally home! Lighting Blue, sport package, FX2 package, 301A package, and tow package. Everything I need, and nothing I didn’t. Can’t wait to start on the mods!!

FX2s are extremely rare, at least near me. Looks great; enjoy!

Where do you live that your tires are getting so beat up?

They’re rare out near me too. Dealer I bought it from had the only two in the state (at least that I could find). We bought ours before it even arrived at the dealer hahaha.

I put 180 miles on work days round trip from FW-TX to Possum Kingdom Lake TX currently every other day... My old commute was JPS hospital area (home) to KADS airport (work) 5 days a week... Truck is currently 10 months old or close to it from being bought new now at 22,379 miles. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume I drive more than you not trying to offend... 2 patches in that length of time doesn't seem odd to me really.

Pulling over to take a piss and winding up with a "steel hand tiller" in one of my two patched tires was just unfortunate lol. It blew out immediately once I got some speed and I was pulled over swapping my spare within 100 yards from where I had made my poor choice of peepee stop.

They weren't getting "beat up", I guess I just have bad luck with small nails hence the two punctures that were previously repaired. The "steel hand tiller" destroying my front right tire, as I mentioned that had previously been patched was beyond repair. So on went my full size spare that had a michelen defender mounted.

That left me to decide between paying 800$ to put on 4 good shoes in the factory size, or great shoes in my opinion in the furthest size my ranger will ever accomodate on all 5 wheels as I do not have any intentions of lifting it and keep a full size spare... for $1300 out the door roughly.

It needed to be done and i chose the latter. Waiting for the OE tire was not an option, and honestly anyone thats driven in some good weather will attest that the OE tires absolutely suck in heavy rain.

FoD is right.

So... here’s a synopsis...
You: “Damn this truck is great, it’s everything I ever wanted!” This group: “Hold my beer... and give me your credit card!” Haha

I went and got an alignment done on my truck the other day and they had tons of FX2 Rangers on the lot. But they only had one 4x4 (a sport) and no FX4 trucks!

I googled "largest tires that can fit on a 2019 Ranger" because I was offered 285 70 17 BFG KO2s brand new for $500. Next weekend I'm cutting out safety bars, taking my bumper off, leveling the front, spray painting emblems, buying wheels for the first time in my life, learning about ForScan and tuners. What a mess.

I bought the truck a year ago. My first new truck. I was planning on taking it to the dealer for everything and never turning a bolt myself, but nope. Then I saw a picture of Mr. Risks build, steve mcqueen and now I'm thinking of bronze wheels on my black truck.

Damn this board. haha

I think this is subjective. The dual port won't make your turbo better, but you will hear the WHOOOOSH. If that's what you want and it is worth $40 to you, then do it. Boomba racing makes a cheap vent-to-atmosphere thing that just sits below your OEM BOV, if that is your speed.

I kind of want the tubrosmart dual port, but I'm never going to tune my engine so I'm not even sure I really need an aftermarket BOV.
Well i have the ford performance tune on my ranger but I'm trying to decide if replacing the BOV is worth the 240.00. Is there any benifit from doing it ?
