Got rear ended by an escalade. Frame was pushed inwards and up at the rear on both rails in line with the rear axle. The bed was also bowed. Took 14+ months to get my truck totalled. Initial shop that "repaired it" did paint and cosmetic repairs, replaced the tailgate that was damaged.

If you installed the ford kit the connections within the CHMSL may not be solid if thats what you're meaning by the bed light.
