Heated steering wheel available?

Jeep has a "cold weather package" that includes remote start, heated seats, and most importantly a heated steering wheel. My wife's Jeep has this package, and that heated steering wheel is worth it's weight in gold. It's one of those things you'd never give much of a thought, but after you have it in below freezing weather you don't want to live without it anymore!

Is there a package on the new Ford Ranger that has this equipment? If so, can anybody tell me what the package is actually called so I can see which trim levels it'll be offered on?

I don't believe that is an available option - at least at this point.

It is funny how little things can make a big difference. Another example - Whatever I purchased needed to have a compass and an outdoor temperature readout. Stupid little things, but when you have them, you find they are really nice to have. The dampened tailgate is another one I think - but that one is easy to add yourself.

Nope. Sorry. Remote Start and Heated Seats can be had on the XLT 302A (cloth seats) or on the Lariat 501A packages (leather seats).

Thats funny, Im the same. I got a junk yard rear view mirror and temp sensor from a Chev so I could have the Temp and compass in my Frontier!

I wouldn't get my hopes up for a 2020 heated steering wheel. When they have added them to models in the past, it's always been at a refresh point, and I wouldn't expect a refresh point 1MY after launch.

I'm not so sure. I'll bet that assuming this launch is successful, that 2020 will see a lot more options available (6' bed?, more engine options). I'm thinking they limited options for the initial rollout to help with the initial tooling, etc.

Perhaps, but I don't recall Ford doing similar things (except with the Raptor/Shelbys) in the past decade or so. I'm still waiting for the 2 row Explorer to be sold to the public like it is the police. Er... I guess I'm not waiting anymore since I decided I want a Ranger =P.

Even here in SC, I miss the heated wheel in the Lincoln. for those 45 degree nights LOL.

I was driving around the other day and it was in the 70's with my heated seats on. ? My backs been sore and it's like a built in heating pad. lol Not sure I will do it once it hit triple digits here but I'm loving it now.

Did exactly the same - and was able to easily AND CHEAPLY add heated mirrors to my Frontier

Amen Brother - I use the heated seats all the time in the summer after a long day of yard work!

Yep....the heated seats, even in the summer are wonderful on my poor old back! Use them all the time....

You're a little cooler there down in the GV area. Here in the valley if I park in the sun when I get out of work the black leather feels like those hot stones they put on your back. lol

I don't think they are on mine and I thought I got everything available on the XLT.

Are they heated on the Lariat?
