  2. Spray-in Bed liner

I had one in my Tundra and will be getting one in my Ranger. Get deer blood or gas on it, just powerwash it. I had just the mat without the sides, so I could pull it if I was hauling dirt or gravel. I basically just pulled it out twice a year and powerwashed it when I was doing the patio and...
  3. Running tally of VIN #, order date and build date by Ranger5G member (2019 MY)

Mine just moved from est. del. of 2/16 to N/A. Still showing in Order Processing. No sticker.
  4. Running tally of VIN #, order date and build date by Ranger5G member (2019 MY)

I have no idea what is going on with mine. I ordered on 10/16, delivery is estimated for 2/17, but it still shows "In Order Processing" and the windows sticker is not available. My dealer tells me that he expects it on 2/11. Fingers crossed, but I think mine is delayed.
  5. Supercabs

You can only seat delete on the XL. Not an option on XLT and Lariat.
  6. Ranger cap

I have contacted all the cap companies and no one has one available yet. ARE has a concept vehicle with a cap, you can find it one of the threads.
  7. Lighted Running Boards

They call these rock sliders and they even have "Rock Sliders" laser cut into the step, but they are body mounted. It doesn't say that in the description, but if you look at the install instructions, you are definitely bolting to the body. Not going to do much to protect the rockers if they...
  8. What is everyone paying for their 5th Gen Ranger?

That is what I am expecting. But will be fine if I can't take any of the extras. I am lucky in that I have a relative at Ford and my dad is a GM retiree, so I get employee pricing with both.
  9. What is everyone paying for their 5th Gen Ranger?

Lariat SCrew, 501a, FX4, Tow, White Plat MSRP - $43,855 Invoice - $42,062 X-Plan - $42,222 A-Plan - $40,577 I doubt they will let me stack anything on A-Plan, I am eligible for Farm Bureau, College and Pre-Order discounts. I will see what they let me use, if any.
  10. Hankook to supply original equipment tire to 2019 Ford Ranger

What option gets you the LT tires?
  11. Insurance Rate

That is crazy, especially for Montana. I thought your rates would be lower than more populated areas. I used to use State Farm, but as my insurance needs increased, I found that an independent broker gets me much better pricing. With my current homeowners, umbrella and 3 car coverage, my...
  12. Video of the Ranger Production Line at MAP

Yes, that is a fender protector to prevent panel/paint damage on the line. One of the interesting parts for me was the inspection robots at final line. If you skip to 1:55, you can see what looks like a machine vision system inspecting the A-Pillar and cab corners. I worked in production...
  13. Video of the Ranger Production Line at MAP

    Pretty interesting short video.
  14. STX Orders

Yes it will have a black grill.
  15. Ride comparison compared to Tacoma and Colorado?

I drove a Canyon Denali, Tacoma TRD Off Road and a Ranger XLT w/o FX4. Of the three, the Ranger rode the best. It absorbed the bumps well and corned fairly flat for a truck. The Denali was quite disappointing, I expected a much better ride from the supposed luxury trim of the Canyon. It was...
  16. Order Question - electronic locking differential vs open differential

You can always add an aftermarket locker like ARB or Detroit. You basically replace the innards of the diff with the aftermarket part and you can either get a auto locker, electric locker or air locker.
  17. Insurance Rate

Mine went up $200 per year from my 2004 Tundra. $854 per year with the highest liability possible and a $500 comp/collision deductible (my wife’s company requires the low deductible). To give a frame of reference, it is cheaper by $50 than my 2016 Odyssey to insure and $150 cheaper than our 14...
  18. Yah or Nay?

A-Plan on Crew Cab XLT 4x4 with 302a and Tow is $35,780, so I think you got a good price. If there are more options, it is even better.
  19. 300 HP with Higher Octane Fuel?

I wish I could find ethanol free near me. The only place I know to get it is at a Marina, for twice the cost per gallon. I just want it for my lawn equipment and boat. E10 is fine for cars, I think the extra octane boost is more beneficial.
