I had Line-X sprayed in the bed today. I opted for the UV protection upgrade. I am fairly sure a tonneau cover is in store next so the UV protection might be overkill. Honestly, I’m not sure I would have gone the Line-X route if I didn’t see how easy it was to scratch the OEM paint job from Ford. The first thing I put in the bed was about 6 empty coolers (really good party) that scratched the heck out of the bed while empty!

Question for all the experienced people: After getting a Line-X treatment, have you seen things stay in place just setting them in the bed and driving? If not, how did you solve product sliding around your bed after having Line-X sprayed?

Oh... I did not ask before hand, I wanted to see if this shop would spray the Line-X over something to get the 3D look of the Line-X logo in the bed. My guys stuck a rubberized Line-X logo in the bed and put a sticker on my rear window. The window sticker is coming off real soon. The logo attached to the side wall in the bed feels like they used some heavy duty glue to put it in place.

Looks good. How much did it cost? Debating on getting it done or getting a kit and doing it myself.

I had the Line X in my 2019 with an A.R.E topper. I put a cardboard box of stuff in the bed & 2 months later it had only moved about 6".

I went with the UV protection Line-X premium. They quoted me:

$525.00 standard liner, $654 premium liner

I paid $425 in Maine and was quoted $525 for the premium liner. Went with regular liner. Looks great and well worth the spend IMHO

Sounds like the line-x premium spray I received was at the very top of what people paid or were quoted at $654. I should of called several shops.

Oh well, I’m very happy with it. I hope I am this happy in 4 years.

It is what it is. It’s worth what you paid. They are the best out there I believe.

When I bought my Supercrew, the salesman said he'd " throw in" a free drop in liner. I said no thanks. I want a spray in for free. That started the back and forth with the manager. He said he'd do it for cost - $450. I said nope. FREE. Then he had to meet with the other three managers. Came back with we really can't do that. So I thanked them and said the deal is off. Next thing I know I got my Rhininoliner for free.

Regarding your original question: I got the LineX sprayed in, and thought it was somewhat slippery, depending on what was setting on it. I added a Dee Zee bed mat and it fit perfect, and is very anti-skip. Nothing I've put in there has slid around. Gas cans, milk crates, window scrapers, luggage, lumber (that's all I had so far). I did debate if it was like wearing a belt and suspenders, but it works better than LineX alone. My previous 3 Rangers had factory bedliners, and they were terrible to clean out the grooves, and very slippery. I have a ratcheting bed bar too which is handy.
Also I opted for the standard lining, done at a local body shop, since I was planning on a cover. Probably a little high, about $550 I think. They said they only had pricing for 6' and 8' beds, and mine fit the 6' size, no matter how much I protested it was only 5'. Overall I'm OK with that. Peeled off the LineX sticker below the back window, but had to leave the one embedded in the rear of the lining.

Where did you get the Dee Zee bed mat?? I went to their website and they don't list a Ranger...
