Love all those pics! My wife's version of camping is being able to see trees from the hotel
Thanks, I'm processing with the rest of the photos and I'll post them soon. Maybe the wife should see them? Camping is the best and buying a hard sided camper really made it plush!

Just because you're camping doesn't mean you have to be uncomfortable ?

I received some razzing as a "glamper" for showing up with a hardshell RTT when the others in the group were in ground tents.

The razzing had strangely disappeared the next day when we experienced a pop up thunderstorm during the night

They all had stories of soggy sleeping bags, wet groceries, and floating accessories.

My story was waking up and hearing a thunderstorm, then rolling over to go back to sleep

Ya well like lots of other people, we've done it all for years and years, winter camping and all. Nonetheless, we are getting older and generally are working on trails so it sure is nice to have it more plush at camp. Here is trails over the weekend.

YES !!! In Franklin, NC. right now...woke up this morn with 33 degree temps. Closed door to bedroom, went into warm kitchen, made my pot of coffee.
My hats off to those of you who can make due with a tent and a pottie bag. My old bones require a bit more in creature comfort's and a bathroom where business can be conducted, and a hot shower await at the days end.

Totally agree, camped with the kids for many years in a pop-up camper. Wife wouldn't sleep on the ground. Saw many places on our annual trips. Got tired of packing up and putting down, especially wet canvas. Our little Rpod is not big or fancy, but it works for us. Heat, A/C and a bathroom for those mid-night trips is really nice in our old age.

Yesssssss

I don't go camping to be cold, wet and miserable.

I go camping to enjoy the outdoors.

I always laugh when 'people' say that i must be soft to bring an air mattress and heater camping... Nope, I slept in the ground, in the mud and bugs for enough years.

Camping in the western UP of MI at a NFS campground over the weekend. It got down to about 28 overnight.

28° F - I’m pretty sure you need a third dog for that. Camping Out in the Country when it’s that cold isn’t for everyone. Working those trails sure looks like Hard Labor. My guess is that It Ain’t Easy but you get great pictures, Naturally. Some are even Suitable For Framing.

Thanks, we did manage to get a few good pics over the weekend and even the furnace worked to keep it at 60.

Love your pictures Arly. I spent many weekends in the UP on a snowmobile in the winter & plenty of weeks fishing in the summer. Beautiful country.
