I managed a big chunk in my sidewall from our trip to Baja. I have a fullsize spare under the truck so I think Ill just switch the tires and keep the chunked one as my spare.

For SAFETY reasons - Trash It

Think about hitting a bump, pothole etc. and what pressure is exerted on that sidewall
The sidewall has been compromised - why risk a blowout and possible crash?

SAFETY - Trumps everything

Loose the tire, it is not even safe as a spare. What if you need your spare again and that tire has to go back on the ground. Not worth your safety, your family s safety or the others on the same road as you when it fails.

To answer the OP's question I wouldn't drive on it much longer. It's not worth taking a chance of a blowout from this.

TBH, my first thought when I read the title was "I've never known my tires to blab on a secret", and then my brain woke up and decided to actually open the thread...

Bad dad jokes aside, I'm with others here who say "No, safety first"; that's a sizable gouge you've got in that tire, and the integrity of it is surely compromised.

Where do you drive mostly? Are you on trails constantly? If so if you blow a tire I would NOT trust that one as a spare to get you out.

However if all you do is 15-20 minutes to/from work on pavement, yeah that would probably work fine as a spare to get you to a tire shop.
