Would you get 285/70R17et-12 or 33x12.50R18 et18?

What size wheel and tire?

I'm trying to decide on wheels. I like the negative offset of the - 12 but I've been told I then can't fit a 33"x12.5" tire. I can get close with a 285/70R17... Alternatively I go 18" wheel with a +18 offset and the 33x12.50 ridge grapplers fit ok

I have no crash bars and have already lifted it 2" all round and added 35mm arches.

Anyone have any thoughts?

sorry to bring up an old thread but 33x12.5x18 tires on factory 18" tires with a Read Lift 3.5" leveling kit. Would it clear the tires without any issues/rubbing?

searched the forum but couldn't find any info. Any suggestions, advise, comments, inputs would be much appreciated.

I'm using 295/70R17, Fox 2.0 in the front, wheel is 17x8.5 0 offset , I have to cut bars, removed the plastic behind the front wheel and I cut felt lines but not needed, I'm in the lookout to possibly go to a 3.5 inch total lift to get some off roading clearance in the front. The front will rub for sure at full compression since it is close to the fog light housing. One of the pics showing the setup height for the Fox 2.0.
