Does anyone have the Wolfbox G900Tripro Bumper Version ? I'm thinking about getting one but I'm not sure if it's worth it.

DUDE !!!I got mine installed today and I figured I would go ahead and write it up incase it helps you at all. I started by unboxing everything and bench testing it on the tail gate to make sure everything worked before begining the install. Yup all the cameras work and so did the mirror.

I then begin by taking the trim piece off the factory mirror, attaching the wolfbox, and atempting to power it from the factory dimming wiring harness. This never did work for me. I might have a bad adapter or maybe something else is wrong with the factory wiring but I never could get this to work.

I had bought the wolfbox hardwired kit in addition to the mirror adapter and ended up using that and running that down to the fuse box on the drivers side. I found a good ground and then connected the yellow cable to one of the switched fuse slots on the fuse box.

I got everything buttoned up on that side and then started running the cables for the forward and reverse cameras. Thse were pretty tough to get tucked into the headliner and behind the A pillar trime. I think if I had it to over again I would try to pull the A pillar trim and run the camera cables behind it. Both of the cameras went on the passenger side of the car. The primary reason for doing this was easy access to between the firewall and passenger compartment. The easiest way I found to do this was to find the gromet for the factory wiring on the passenger side. This has a little tab on it but if you pull the tab it will come off and you can see a pass through.

I found it easiest to remove the glove box to have access in the passenger compartment. At this point it is just a matter of fighting with the cables to get them through. I used a 3 foot lenght of 14 guage romex ground for this. Once both the camera cables were through the port was pretty tight around them. If you are planning on running an attenta or other wiring through this port consider using one of the ports in the back of the passenger compartment for the rear camera.
The rest is the easy part. Fish the front camera down to the front bumper and mount it. Do the same for the rear camera. I was worried that I wouldn't have enought to get the rear camera mounted but I actually ended up pulling more of the cable through than I should have so I will have to go back and provide a little bit of extra in the passenger compartment.

Did you consider using the OEM Mounting Bracket Kit that eliminates the factory mirror ?I got mine installed today and I figured I would go ahead and write it up incase it helps you at all. I noticed the same thing where the mirror is noticeably left of center. Honestly I'd read over a couple of install threads here and decided I would just use the rubber straps to hold the Wolfbox to the OEM mirror and see how much that arrangement bugged me before going down the rabbit hole of sourcing the various parts because it seems like there is no kit for our generation of rangers.Did you consider using the OEM Mounting Bracket Kit that eliminates the factory mirror ?
I'm not to happy with the Dash Mount Bracket sits. It looks "wrong". It just isn't tall enough.
But I'm not sure their OEM kit will work on our mirrors.
When I test fit mine to the mirror I noticed it offset a lot to the left to clear the camera. Is that to be expected ?
That's why I'm considering removing / replacing the factory mirror.
Mine came with the OEM Mirror replacement but I'm almost certain it can't work on our trucks. But,,, I've got time tomorrow to call the Wolfbox guys and see what their take is on the subject.I noticed the same thing where the mirror is noticeably left of center. The reason the Wolfbox mounts to the left is the lens for the in mirror 4k camera. If you did put together a more factory install that would move that camera to the right which I think might cause more of the view for it to be blocked. Of course you're also going to move it forward which would have the opposite affect.
Right now I'm leaning towards figuring out a better mounting solution.

I got to OEM look I wanted but the front camera loses @ 20% of its FOV to the mirror trim. I don't really care because I intend to use the rear camera primarily.I noticed the same thing where the mirror is noticeably left of center. I mounted the front cam to the bottom of the front license plate bracket. It's nice because I can face it forward when driving or parking. And, I can aim it downward when I go off-road.I'm planning out my tripo install and I was wondering what others opinions are on camera placement. I have a soft topper currently so interior mounting wouldn't be ideal. I'm thinking license plate mount or see if there's room under the tailgate handle that doesn't get in the way of releasing the tailgate. I'm also thinking of mounting the 1080p camera under the truck forward facing to show the front tire placement / clearances. the front view on the bumper doesn't really seem that useful to me other than for parallel parking or cresting steep climbs.
Regarding the front camera... You're correct. It's kind of useless where I have the front camera mounted. It really isn't that great for parking. My original front "extra" cam was defective. It still works but it had horizontal blurry lines that would appear on screen. Wolfbox sent a replacement camera right away to fix the problem. BUT,,, now I have an extra "extra" camera. It may be slightly defective but it still basically works. SOOO,,, I'm going to mount my defective cam under the vehicle looking at the insides of the front tires. I'll then run the wires up to the G900tp and leave then hanging there. Then,,, I can unplug the front license plate camera (when I go off-road) and plug-in the "under frame" camera for a rock crawling view... Technically, I'll have a G900 Quad-Pro. No sense in tossing out a camera that still works (sort of). And Who Cares if it gets trashed down there.I'm planning out my tripo install and I was wondering what others opinions are on camera placement.
