If you don't use MagSafe you will need to make sure that the phone is somehow centered on the pad. Not an issue with MagSafe, never had heat issues even on long drives and I have the CarlinKit under the bracket also.

Dirk designed these, and he seems to be gone. I thought about trying to take his place, until his return, but it would be $800 a year to be a vendor. I'd have to sell 16 a year at $50 just to break even on the fees here. Not including material cost.

I have seen a lot of requests for his plate and they appear to go unanswered, unless he's handling it all by DM, which is cool.

I would be happy to but the cost of being a vendor on this forum is insane. I wonder if his pee pee was slapped for not paying to be a vendor.

I have a second printer on the way and am about to start dabbling in ABS. And no, I won't do it via PM.

would you mind letting me know what a good 3-D printer costs? Which one do you have and have you built anything to see that it looks great as far as how it goes with the plastic trim?

I’m trying to avoid mounting the tuner on the a pillar. I would debate some sort of set up in the middle of the dash, but I have the auxiliary switches and use them.

Hell, if I were able to create the item, as it will go in place of a piece on the truck, can I pay you to 3-D print it?

But then again, there’s been a lot of things between my house and vehicles that really tell me a 3-D printer would be heavily used in my case.
