2023 Ranger…. I live in Southern California. Is there any particular brand of windshield wiper that is better than the rest? Most likely I will hit up AutoZone parts store.Thank you. *********Update******** it is real interesting after reading three pages of replies, and thank you to everyone, how I have purchased some medium priced and expensive priced wipers and they worked horribly for me but yet some other people said they worked great for them and then other people said they were bad also for them. I’m guessing it’s what kind of climate and if in direct sunlight you park your vehicle in. Thank you again for your help.

We went through this a couple years ago in our Explorer and went through a few sets, which were less than stellar and we ended up going back with Motorcraft wipers, from the dealership. No complaints at all and I'll do the same with the Ranger. It's between $40-50 for the pair and they come out and install them for free.

Same problem with our Jeep Wrangler. I bought at least three different sets (cheap ones from AutoZone, but more expensive ones from AutoZone and different brands) that seem to last about five months and then I went back to the factory Jeep wipers which lasted over two years. I’m going to give the Trico’s a try and order them tonight and if they do not work out, I’ll go back to the Motorcraft. The pair on my 23 Ranger lasted a little over two years, which is more than fair enough.

Ordered. Tuesday arrival. Thanks again! Like I said, I was having bad luck picking them myself from medium price to a expensive price, so I figure somebody else might have better luck than me…..lol. Thanks again.

My OEM set was horrible from day one and I replaced them with RainX but they were very bulky looking...this set is slick, slim and totally awesome! This'll be your last set of choice...

Got my 2021 Ranger in June, 2021, new....still have the OE blades on it, and their still good. Granted, Truck is garaged, and I do clean the blades several times a year....don't know which way I'll go when I do need new....

I just get medium priced ones at Walmart for $7-$9 and replace them twice a year.
Winter blades for the winter and regular blades for the summer.
I've found that the pricey blades don't last any longer than the cheap ones.

Avoid RainX wipers at all cost !
Total garbage after 8k miles.
And I live in South Texas where rain doesn't happen every day, or every week, or every month.

...also, the plastic clip that locks the wiper to the wiper arm pops open. A lot.

I'm never buying that junk again. I really expected better from RainX.

Now I'm wondering what to replace them with... the Ceramic Coated blades or the HD Truck blades ?
🤔

I use Bosch Icon blades on all of my vehicles. They last 2 - 3 years. Of course, I don't live where there is snow and ice.

That’s been proved with testing… maybe Consumer Reports, that just about any brand last six months.
