I do, and you're not the first to poke me about my clean garage. I'm adverse to clutter in a big way, without being "minimalist".
And I suck at decorating ?
I don't see a thing wrong with your garage. In fact I admire it being more clutter free than mine. Also it is certainly better than people with a garage full of a few hundred dollars of junk and park their $35,000+ vehicles outside. Then complain about having their vehicles broken into, things stolen from them or weather damage. :)

I had the AVS stick on because they look so much better, but my dog stepped on the power window and as it was coming down he jammed his giant watermelon head into the gap and pushed the front half of the window visor off. The wind caught it and folded it in half, so I replaced them with the WeatherTech in-channel version. They are better in that they cover the front vertical section of the front windows so more usable while driving in the rain, and also more secure, but definitely do not look as good. If didn't have dogs, I'd stick with the AVS stick-ons.

I have the in-channel type. They fit great, and I can leave my four windows cracked open in the summer to "bleed" out the hot air inside, so that it's not stifling. With my old Escape, I used to "tilt" the sunroof, but I always had to keep an eye out on the weather, and got had once or twice with a surprise storm; no need to worry about that with these.

I like the in channel but was told not to use them with my tinted windows so I do not have any.
My personal experience is that the in-channel have had no detrimental effect on either of my Rangers. Both have had all windows tinted.
Perhaps you need a second professional opinion from another window tint business?
