True, but I guess I'm not seeing what you mean.

I posted the pic as an illustration of the way proper window vents should install. Behind the glass, not on top of it.

It's touchy though. Proper vents, as developed in rally and other racing work like the one I posted. But a casual user MIGHT want the temporaryness of these. A true vent does put a bit of somewhat obtrusive hardware inside the cab.

I don't think window vents really belong on a truck anyways, but personally, to me, these look like some cheap Autozone rice. But you know what they say about assholes and opinions.
