Weird....pulled the instructions for mine....shows clips and a little clip install tool...BUT...the clips and tool weren't included with mine. And, yes, it was new in original packaging. :whew:
Steve,
I'm thinking that maybe the original deflector kits did not come with clips but that they were possibly included as an addition in the later kits?

This.
Deflectors I had for my '19 did not have them, but the same ones I bought for my '21 did...so I used them.
No problems at all with either set.

put em in without the clips (saved em though, just in case). they fit nice and snug. instructions say to keep windows rolled up for 48 hrs. cold forecast next few days so will be no temptation to break that rule

Phil, if you find that the windows seem to "stick" at the top when you roll em up, spray some silicone into the window channels...easy if you have a can with the "straw". Found the pass. side was tight on mine when I installed and the spray cleared it up instantly.

i had trouble getting the passenger side to roll up as well. it would hit on the deflector at the back and stop. i had to push out on it and raise the window to get it to go. almost lost a finger?

I put WT’s on 22 Ranger and EGR’s on wife’s 21 Bronco Sport, WT not available.

Kind of like the EGR better as I got hers in matte black and they seem to blend in better.

id say both are equal quality.
I finally got around to buying & installing EGR version "In-Channel" deflectors for my Crew-Cab...

BUT I can't get the windows to go all the way up on the front doors!

I tried reading pages 6 thru 9 and there is no info or trick to make the EGR version work.

Any tips?

If not, I guess I'm gonna have to return these & try the Goodyear version...

I've only bought the WeatherTech in channel ones. No issues getting the windows up front or back.
Good luck on your next attempt!

Maybe apply a little outward pressure on the visor by pulling out the visor while somebody rolls up the window. Even the Weathertech were snug at first.

I had the same issue when I first installed mine. Put the windows up as far as they will go for an hour or so put them down and back up, repeat… They will work in after a bit.

Sadly this ain't the case for everyone.
Different brand but even after I left em closed for a week, still kept catching the glass.

Manufactauring tolerances from ford and the visor companies seem to be pretty broad.

That's gotta be frustrating.
You've tried the WeatherTech?
I've had two sets, two different Rangers, both sets work perfectly.

Weathertech is just a rebanded copy of no name brands.

When I had my F150, the WeatherTech Logo on my bed cover came off. There was a faded LUND logo under it. :|

Anyway, I received some stick-on versions from, well, LUND sold as ford. Hopefully I have better luck with these.

Ok then, good luck.
I've bought many WeatherTech products, and I buy them from the company website. Nothing but good quality and service from them.
