Here is a few dog pics you guys might like. The top one is a floor filler I build to make it flat back there.

I made a filler like that for my 03 Ranger, it rested on top of the jump seats.

Its been fall like, wet weather here so i've not taken any photos of the dog floor setup but I might get some today. Where should I post them??

Folks... Here is the rear area platform I built for the mutts. When the seats are all the way back, it goes up against this, so I need to round off the legs rear corners off a bit more. Bu it just barely runs up against it. In the top photo, you can see some grip tape added to the trucks threshold that was added for the old girl, who can't jump in any more.

I have an inflatable mattress that might fit back there, I haven't tried it in my crew cab yet. It's designed for mid-sized sedan rear seats. I used it in my Fusions.

For old dogs who can barely leap into the truck anymore. We added this grippy tape to the threshold.

Maybe I should add, our dogs are not allowed in the front .

Might have to add this. Our dogs aren't old, but they do get pretty tired after some of our long hikes. I still need to add the running boards as well to help them out, among other reasons.

I will admit - my dog is spoiled rotten - I lift his rear feet into the rear seat - once or twice he has jumped in, but usually he just waits for me. But he did hike over 16 miles with me on Saturday and he was pulling strong even at the end!

Rear seat cover - a cheap one from Amazon get's the job done

And a neoprene console cover from these folks. Together this keeps my interior pretty safe from the Aussie.

After cleaning my truck yesterday I'm either going to ban the dogs to the bed or swap out my carpet for a rubber floor. Man, hair everywhere!

Newest edition to our house, names Charlie. He's a miniature Australian Shepard. Our last dog, Scrappy passed away 3 years ago.
