So I was taking stuff out of the bed the other night in a very dark area and the next morning I noticed a little plastic piece laying in the back of the bed. Trying to figure out where it came from. Has Ford script logo on it, Can't seem to find a corresponding mate or obvious place for it to mount.

Looks like the bulkhead plug in bed near floor under window. I could be wrong. Mine are sprayed with Bedliner so don’t know orig color.
Then again. Maybe not. Mine are kinda oblong.

Definitely not that bulkhead plug, I only know because I popped mine out before they sprayed the Line-X in.

I have Line X, as well.Here's a better pic with a penny for size reference. I was thinking it popped off from somewhere in the tailgate stops or something on the side of it(?), but can't seem to find a logical place.

That’s a lot smaller than I thought it was. Any other numbers other than what looks to be PA66?

Well, we know It is make out of Nylon 66 as that is the recycle code for that...

Everything and anything I can find looks like the protective cover under a trailer harness. Believe it's part of a Pollak pa66 harness. Open your harness cover and see if there is a similar female connector inside.

Now that we know the size, it looks like a harness connector plug to me too. There's also a harness connector for the bed power outlet under the bed on the driver's side between the wheel well and tail light

If you don't have a bed outlet, the weather proof connector should have a blank plug in it to keep moisture out.

It isn't for that - that connector looks different - it isn't flat like this one.
