I'm less than 6000 miles from the 36,000 mile warranty running out. The truck is running real well (probably just jinxed it).
I want to know from others what, if anything, I should have the dealer check out that would be a covered issue before I reach 36,000.
Thanks in advance!

The bumper to bumper is 3/36.

Your powertrain is 5 years/60k miles so you have a while on it yet.

For your 3/36, one thing to take a look at is your parking brake boot.

A lot of them crack and split (mine did).

Get it replaced under the warranty if yours shows signs of getting ready to fail.

The new boot material seems much better.

So I'll try to give you some ideas since maybe I was short on the last reply just to be helpful.

check all of the HVAC functions cycle through every possible combination and make sure all of the blend doors and actuators move as they should.

Craw under the truck and give it a good inspection make sure nothing looks broken or out of place. leaking shocks etc. seeping axle seals, driveshaft seals, transfer case etc.

Check the engine for any oil leaks top and bottom

Checked for any cracked hoses etc.

Since these are prone to HVAC issues, HVAC would be on top of my list, and oil leaks. Although oil leaks leaks would probably be covered by power train warranty most likely.

The only thing I've had replaced under warranty was the battery. I noticed my proximity locks weren't working only the drivers was. The battery was weak and I bought a batter maintainer. If you're having any issues like this or others have them check is as these IIRC are around $300.

?‍♂ Sell before hitting 36. They are going for 36-40k on the private market.

I'd agree if we were living in "normal" times but we're not. I bet it would cost him a lot more to sell and then try and find a replacement. Better off getting an extended warranty through Flood Ford or Zeigler Ford as they discount them. :)

I was just trying to throw in a little humor after having a stressful day between the wife and the oil in my fuel issue.
