What is this on back seat on the 22’s?

On pics of all 22’s I see this latch thing in the middle lower part of the seat. Not on my 21 Tremor.

No not on my 21 Tremor. I have pull taps on each side to lift up.

Looks like a car seat anchor point. Odd that they would put one there if that's what it is.

My 22 locks in vertical position too.

I have a 2022Tremor delivered 04/05/22 . And it has the latch mechanism with pull straps on either side. Must be a very recent substitution.

Oh and it’s already been replaced. Wouldn’t latch down first time I lifted it and went to close it
