I got two things in the mail ...

Thanks to @Grumpaw, I now have less money to spend on league nights at the bowling alley!

I've been looking for a smaller fuel can than the 5-gallon Justrite I originally got for Soupie (you know, for those off-the-beaten path dump runs that I do!). =D

I wanted smaller both for fit in the bed (there's hardly any room for dump stuff anymore!) and for handling. That 5-gallon can is heavy for me, especially when lifting so high up to the capless fuel filler on our poorly-designed-too-tall-and-bad-bed-rake trucks. =p

I measured and thought the 5-liter Wavian would be good but thank God for @Grumpaw and his picture, and coaxing to get the 10 liter one (about 2.5 gallons). =)

It's raining, so I haven't seen how well it fits in front of the wheel well (I could melt out there) and I also got some 2" wide velcro straps to hold it with the front tie down. Looks like a really nicely made can. And like some have suggested, I'll try it out and see if I can pour it in, via a capless funnel, without scratching the bed of the truck. If it's too tight, @JohnnyO made a great suggestion on modding a power steering funnel.

Second item -

And, with rationalization that Kate also needs a battery jumper, I got the latest Gooloo GT4000S and will give her my older Gooloo 4000A. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it no longer comes with a hard case, which I think is decent for throwing it on the floor in the back of the supercab (under Cheech's bed, so the floor's never used). Right now Amazon has a coupon on it and you can get it for $109 ...

Have had 2 gallons of gas in mine, and let it sit on its side for an hour...no leaks and no fume odor.
Haven't tried to empty into Truck, but I have an old trans funnel that I have in my swing away box, so I'm not worried.
Using can/funnel is not something I'm going to be doing everyday...emergency only....can and funnel will be fine.

Mine is only the 4 hp version, but it has helped organize my coins.

It's a ram mount holder, and an aussie bracket that fits just above the air vent on that side - sorta slips in above the vent and out through the seam...

Mine did too, 2 cards actually. Enough to buy another Ranger though I don't carry a balance and don't spend more than 2k a month. Odd that.

I bought a tonneau cover from TonnoSport when I realized they are only $250. I have been pronouncing them like they are spelled, "tonneau", like rhymes with Phil Donahue. Turns out they are pronounced "Ton-o" and of course nobody corrects me when I say it wrong. Damn French.

Part two of the new battery jumper ... or ... maybe I should slow down and read sometimes!

So the new Gooloo was $20 cheaper and that's because it doesn't come with a hard case, just a nylon pouch. Which would probably be just fine for Soupie, but I have my personal image of being a tough guy, so I need a tough case (although, I'm not as tough as my Mad Max hero @DukeCanBuildit). =D

And holy cow, it seems far larger than the original one! But it's not quite as bad as I thought when looking at them side by side. Keep in mind, both these jumpers are rated at 4000 amps.
