After a three month (I’ve lost count) wait, my custom painted, dash panels are here.

Quick test fit is positive, but will have to wait until weekend to fit properly.

They look black here

Loan denied notice from ford. So glad the dealer ran my credit through like 30 lendors :)

25 more to go!
That's weird, I got a notice that my dealership denied my financing today. Yet I already have auto-pay set for my first payment on the 11th! And I have the truck financed with Ford Motor Credit.

Some automated snafu, I guess.

I couldn't find my breaker bar so I ran over to Harbor Freight and picked up another. Figured it was good to have one for our trip and with my luck without it I'd need it.

Nice, but they are sold out.
Maybe send them an email and see what they'll be back in stock? They also had some coupon codes if you registered and once you sign it they were near the top. I got mine for $75.00 back in late January. I haven't had to use mine yet but I just checked the charge and it was still at 100% after 4 months.

Here's a good comparison video on these jump starters.

I changed my mind on colour, which triggered a chain reaction.
Ah I gotcha did you order new oem parts and send them to get painted or is it a company that sells it all done?

I love this guy, he is so thorough and clever in his testing. If you've never thought you'd watch 20 minutes of ratchet straps on YouTube, check him out:

When I'm looking for something to purchase I search his videos first. I like that he's very detailed and non bias as he doesn't get paid for his products.

Lookie here, and do a double or triple take ... it's a mirror!

Good thing the only thing written in English is where it's made, otherwise I'd have no idea! =p

So the base XL doesn't come with visor vanity mirrors. I got this polished stainless steel with double-backed tape for the passenger side. I better bring out the tape measure, I can't eyeball anything level.

I swear, had I sat down and figured out the cost off all the little extras, I could have gotten a Lariat! =D

LOL, looks like a rest area bathroom mirror!!! =D

In regards to the jump starters. I have the gb40. Have not needed it for my own car yet, but have jumped 3 cars for friends and family. The convenience of this item is unmatched.

i do recommend them to anyone I know as a it’s better to have and not need, than need and not have it item.

also check the charge every couple months if it sits in the truck unused. Won’t be any use dead.

It's definitely one of those items that you buy and hopefully don't have to use it. But it's good to know that you were able to help out friends and family with it. Mine fits perfectly under the rear seat (out of sight out of mind) so I set a reminder on my phone to go off every 2 months so I don't forget to keep it charged up.

Got a 14" GoRhino Exhaust Tip. I replaced the existing 10" GoRhino with the 14". These are quality Tips...I had the 10" on for 15 months and no peeling, chipping, fading or deterioration. I also re-painted the tailpipe with Rust-oleum High Heat up to the muffler with flat black which matches the 14" Tip better than the semi-gloss black tailpipe I had with the 10" Tip.
Both Tips are black powder coated. The new Tip comes out about 3/4" outside the body. Pics. below show before and after.

Go Rhino® GRT3414B - Stainless Steel Round Rolled Edge Angle Cut Clamp-On Black Powder Coat Exhaust Tip (3" Inlet, 4" Outlet, 14" Length) (carid.com)
