What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Drove 150 miles to pick up a new dump trailer. Sold the last one thinking I wouldn't need one anymore and then realized I couldn't live without one. Drove down to Arkport on all the back roads through hundreds of windmills. I didn't realize NY had so many.

This one is a mini dumper that's a perfect size for the Ranger. Stopped on the way to pick up a yard of compost / topsoil mix. Hardly knew it was back there.

It's a 5x10 with 7000 GVW. Weights 2350 so it's heavy for it's size and only can carry about 4600 pounds. That's because it's a de-rated 10k trailer with lighter axles. 10 gauge floor and powder coated. It was the nicest mini dump I could find. About the same track width as the Ranger makes it tow great. Gonna try and add a equalizer hitch before loading it up. Perfect for my mini excavator and look at a mini skid-steer now also.

So nice Almost hate to scratch it up. One of the best trailers I've seen!

Annual camping trip to City of Rocks National Reserve in Idaho just across the border from Utah. The Icon front+rear suspension made the journey so much smoother this time around

Beautiful but quit telling people about Idaho!! We're full! They should visit right now, though. We are covered in smoke from the Spokane fires. That should send some packing. On a serious note those poor folks in Spokane. Last I heard yesterday over 600 homes have been destroyed and it seems half the city to the north have been evacuated. We have a lot of timbered and natural areas mixed in with some of these neighborhoods and it's more arid over there anyway plus how dry it's been this year. The Old Trails Fire is stated at 3619 acres. It looks like the Palisades Fire with the streets resembling a war zone.

Beautiful but quit telling people about Idaho!! We're full! They should visit right now, though. We are covered in smoke from the Spokane fires. That should send some packing. On a serious note those poor folks in Spokane. Last I heard yesterday over 600 homes have been destroyed and it seems half the city to the north have been evacuated. We have a lot of timbered and natural areas mixed in with some of these neighborhoods and it's more arid over there anyway plus how dry it's been this year. Really sad. Our bad one down this way is the Tartar Fire which made it right up to Weiser City Limits.

On Edit: Just looked it up. The Fox Fire is right there and the Powder River to the northwest. At least most of that is in the mountains as horrible as that still is.

I brought my 88 years old neighbor up to Lowes to pick up a fridge. It was a floor model and I guess Lowes wont deliver floor models because they're not boxed. Wouldn't ya know it when we asked the guy on the floor if they had a box just to wrap around it to protect it a little he found the original box out back.

It's not ideal to lay them down (it was only 20 minutes) but I didn't want it upright because with my luck it would've fallen over and messed up the bed rial. Of course it would've been the side that wasn't leaning! lol

I think you have to stand it up 8 hours before plugging in after that. You have 6 tie downs, don't you? . Maybe @subquark will give you lessons how to use them .

@Ranger Mel just heard it's between 700-1100 structures burned. Tragic.

Thought about moving to Colbert decades ago.

I only needed the rear 2. Besides, it wasn't mine so no need to overdo it.

I went to Sherman this morning and visited with Dad for a few hours. Then I stopped in Bonham and put $40.00 worth of 87 in the truck, 87 is $3.47 a gallon at the current time. Then I stopped by Braums and got a burger and fries to go. Then about an hour ago, I got a craving for ice cream and went to DQ and got Reeces Blizzard. The last stop of the day will be Lake Bois D Arc.
