Thank you Dave. Mountains2Metal just got an order from me. When I first saw that hole in the lower grille my pessimistic side told me that I would probably fill it with a bird or small animal someday. I like wildlife, so this may help one of those creatures live a little longer, and keep me from replacing an intercooler!

The good thing is I don't have anything I need or want for my Ranger....Yet lol

The bad thing is if gas keeps going up I'll just be able to fill my tank with it! :curse:
I just made the same statement about need or want until I saw your post with the 'hole filler'! There will always be something.

True! But this is my second Ranger and when my first one got totaled I took everything off it and put it on this one. Unless something new comes out I don't really need or want much now. Besides a Raptor.

Hauled the trash off this morning. Adam @Dr_Strangelove, you are right. I had a big smile on my face, because the only thing that I had to open was the tail gate to put the trash in the truck and to get the trash out of the truck.

Then I drove down to the Red River. It's low. We need some rain. Is it this dry in other parts of the country?

Yes it is. We are dry, hot, smoky and on fire. Escaped to the cabin where it is a bit cooler and a little less smoky. AQI only 109 compared to 243 down the hill!

We are getting dry here in Idaho. Rivers are low anyway but we are getting some mountain rain occasionally. Puddles in some of the pot holes on the road when we went camping up the river again last week. About 91 coming home from from working at the gun range this afternoon.

What's crazy is we're having a very active Monsoon season here in southern AZ. Just about every day for the last 2.5 weeks we've had some really good storms here. Last night I woke up at 1:30am to some big thunder booms, lightning and massive downpours. The funny thing is there was no rain on any of the weather apps. Hopefully these big storms will help fill up our aquifers because everywhere else has been bone dry.

I have the Putco but mine has a cutout for the front sensor. Is the mountain2metal the same or have options like Putco?

There's no cut out on the M2M and I've never had any interference the way it is. I don't know why you'd want a cut out because the main reason for the added grille is for protection of the sensor along with the lower radiator.

Is that your harness for a battery tender on the p/s tow hook? I thought it was for a block heater at first...or a zip tie

It's for my damper heater. 😜

Yes, it's for my battery maintainer to quick connect.

I have had mine for over 4 years. Sometime in the past on this forum I read about interference on the grille. Whether it was totally true or not. That is why I went with Putco.
Forgive the dirty car.

I think I remember seeing that too but I've never had any interference with mine and it's been on for 3 years now. It would be just my luck I'd get a large rock strike right where the sensor is if I had the Putco grille. lol

Putco builds theirs with and without the cutout to accommodate either build.
I have had both.
