No pics, but drove it down the road to the beach again this AM. I only mention it because on teh way home we saw a Lariat at the light across from us. As it turned left across the front of us, I could see the guy driving, and his wife in the passenger seat, gawking at my truck. ? ?

Sorry about your elbow, hope it stays painless while getting better. Take care of yourself and let others serve you for a while. Tell them it hurts really bad. :giggle:

So you will be driving around with that nice green cargo until you are fine and able to unload it?
Thank you, and lots of ice with frozen bags of peas plus the compression makes it look pretty normal today. But it does swell once you take off the wrap.

And no pain to speak of and I'll unload it this week, maybe wait till Thursday.

Lol, I like the idea of milking this, maybe I'll type a bit less for work this week (I'm already a two-finger typer, so going to one finger will be a real mess). =p

Thanks for the well wishes! =)

It wasn’t today and I’m sure a lot of you already know and or won’t be surprised (especially if you read the specs lol) but back in the beginning of spring I hauled 1000lbs of soil for my raised garden beds. 4 times. It barely made an impact on truck! It didn’t squat much if any and no real noticeable difference in the driving. Ive seen payload ratings of 1600ish - 1800ish which was hard to believe for what it is but after that it’s not so unbelievable. Now I should say that I work for a big box home improvement retailer and have loaded countless trucks with lift equipment and have frequently seen the capacities greatly overestimated by the owners so that makes my assumption of the the rangers payload capacity a bit tainted seeing how I’ve seen f150sand 1500s practically riding on the rear wheels lol (yes they we’re trying to load far more then they should in certain cases) but anyway seeing how it’s a mid size truck I was shocked to see it handle 1000lbs no problem. I’d like to heard what weights others have hauled and how it went

Ouch!! f I wasn't so far away, I'd offer to come up there to do the dump run for you on Tuesday.
Always a pleasure to share the dump passion and it's awfully nice of you to offer. =)

I won't do the dump run Tuesday but won't be able to put it off for too long. =p

It's one of those simple things that you can check off in life and maybe that's what I like about it (oh gee, my philosophy of life is pretty simple!). =D

I'm surprised no one has tied this injury to the obvious culprit - the damper!!!

This may warrant a class action suit!

With the big damper money, I could build my own dump for Rangers only!

Few weeks ago I stopped my Ranger near at some grocery store in some random village to check something. And there it came - a dream Ranger! With nice lift and AT tires, not just with one color but also stars on it... Finally something really to stare! So I didn’t hold myself back at all, window open, happy smile on my face I was just in love with another Ranger. The guy in this Ranger was also looking at me in my Ranger.
Yes, such moments are funny!

It's amazing how much keeps coming off those Yews, we have a tiny yard, but there are 50+ of them and they're 30 feet tall and 65 years old and never been trimmed.

I didn't realize this until the evening, but I had smacked my elbow in a doorway, didn't think anything of it and went on to pole prune and saw branches for a few hours.

Later that night when I was preparing supper, my elbow felt tight and I touched it and YIKES!

Olecranon bursitis, aka Popeye Elbow. doesn't hurt, it just looks gnarly! I have to keep it wrapped for 2-4 weeks 24/7. There goes the lawn aeration I was planning on doing today!

But I did manage to go to Lowe's before I realized I had this thing!

I’ve never seen such! Glad it’s not painful, but it sure looks like it would be!:frown: Hope it heals quickly!

Been there done that. Yeah you don't notice it until someone tells you about it or you lean on that elbow.

Hope it heals quick for you.

Took my son to hang out at the creek by our place, hit the trails hunting for pawpaw fruit, wound up bombing some pretty nasty mud trails, and put the Destination MT2s that I recently bought to the test. We had a blast, and the truck shows it. just finished cleaning up the interior, haha.
