What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

My neighbour puts corn out on her driveway and the deer come up the ravine through my yard. I don’t mind as I enjoy seeing them. I live next to a large conservation area with plenty of wildlife. My neighbour is convinced the deer won’t make it through the winter without the corn. I wonder how she would react if I told her that in some places, the deer won’t make it through the winter BECAUSE of the corn.

You are exactly right there. In fact, it is illegal to feed them in some locations around here. To clarify, I NEVER FEED DEER, my neighbor has chickens so I put out CHICKEN FEED. . Just like I put out CAT FOOD for all the feral cats. I can’t help it if like opossums and raccoons and foxes and chupacabras show up.

Another save. He was closely monitoring the coolant temperature on the Grand Cherokee since we were just pulling out of the parking lot at work. You would be surprised at the looks you get driving down the road in a Grand Cherokee whilst holding a six foot black rat snake. Not sure why…..

Hit 40k miles today. Got around 2k in a week from old house to new house to old house to parents house. Averaging around 20.7 MPG according to the truck at mostly 75mph.

As much as I dislike this truck and ford, it’s still cool to hit the big 10k increments.

What did you do to the paint to have it looking that good at 148k??? Mine doesn’t look even close to that. I know I don’t wash it enough but yours looks like it’s off the factory floor!

Thanks. I haven’t done anything to the paint but it goes to Mega Spa once or twice a month and when it’s not on the road, it’s backed into the carport to keep the sun from burning it up.

Duke’s 404 - it’s 101 times better. It says so right there in the name. You can’t argue with science. As an added bonus, there’s no nasty moderator residue.
