Mark I have done my own calendars for 20 years. I do 100 of them and give them to family, friends and coworkers for Christmas presents. It's a gift that lasts a whole year. Last year/this year was Mt. Rainier and Olympic Peninsula. For 2025 it just might be Crater Lake????
thats a great idea! crater lake is definitely worthy of a calendar. hmm what about a 5g members version? 12 5g truck of the months lol.

here's a fun one: truck did pretty well hauling this "drag" up and down the dirt road to smooth it out a little/ i wasnt sure it would even pull it out of the sand it had been stuck in for years but it was no trouble at all. Helped to have a heavy load of gear in the back. 2wd and it still only spun a little in the sandy parts. I dont have the tow setup but this chain has a Y at the end with hooks i connected to the safety chain loops/ they held up. Next time ill do a more thorough run up and down the road a few times and hopefully find a better attachment point on the frame.

its been raining for a couple days here. so me and the 5g splashed around in all the puddles and flooded parts of the streets. 1. its fun 2. free undercarriage wash. looked kinda like this but better - since i was driving a 5g instead of a cruise ship...

one of those was a good one. if the water coming over the bow is white its nothing to be excited about. when water comes over the bow is green its a giggle, maybe raise a brow. when water comes over the bow thats dark deep blue, things are sporty. when water comes over the bridge thats steely blue, have things straight with your maker lol.
Ok thanks to you I just lost another half hour of my life to youtube "ships in rough seas" videos. Always a sucker for those. Instant rabbit hole for me. Though my prone to seasickness ass would NOT want to be on one of those rides!

Mark I use MIXBOOK to do my calendars. Awesome quality and thick paper.

haha/ no i just needed to smooth out my road, it's pretty rocky in places and was getting a little tall in the center in others. it's only about a half mile that needs this. the top end needs a pile of sand/gravel mixed in though, so many big rocks....

Doc still hasn’t reviewed my MRI so not cleared for participating in fly fishing. Went for a drive to enjoy the day and at least look at the trout stream! 👍😁

Went to the forest, cut down some trees, blew up the nose sprocket from the chainsaw bar, heated it up to blue steel and cooled it down in the snow until I got the on-going tree to state where chainsaw was no longer needed.

Drove to home, noted that all the shops (with suitable bar) are closed already, ordered a new bar and will just relax tomorrow.

Hopefully it's delivered prior to Easter so I don't have to fire up the backup petrol chainsaw.

Good thing tho, I'm now convinced that I need to upgrade to 542i XPG* and keep the old 10 year old 535i as backup.

I had to do a dump run today and barely had anything to go. So I picked up what I could find from our vet neighbor's yard (he-navy, she-army - how's that for pronouns!). =)

today, on my birthday =D
