Well she's officially mine. Got it paid off this week. I will be moving to Colorado next year and can't wait to see where this truck can take me!

It's a great feeling!

Congrats and Enjoy :like:

Edit: I can't believe I didn't insert my typical useless tidbit, so here goes.

Now that the truck is paid off, keep making the payment but make it to yourself.

You have been putting that monthly amount toward the truck, now you can put that amount monthly into something that's not a depreciating asset.

Then when the time comes for something new, you won't have to consider a payment unless you want to.

Pay off the first one, keep paying yourself while driving it, then pay cash for all the ones after it.

That advice plus $2.50 will get you a cup of coffee at Waffle House and possibly a ringside seat to a Waffle House WWE style brawl.

Always nice to get it paid off. Now you can save the payment for upgrades or a new truck down the road.

Thanks guys! This was my first vehicle purchase and I've really had a lot of fun with it. Crazy to see how far it's come in since last year! I can still remember the day I bought it when my salesman fell asleep in front of me(literally). The feeling of driving it home the first time was something else.

Congrats Joe!
At least now you don't have that monthly payment to worry about.
Have a safe journey to Colorado next year.
Happy and Safe Travels Driver!

Went from the Livernois High Performance tune (91-93) to the Mid-grade tune.

Mid grade used to be called 87-89 Performance but now is called 87-93 Performance.

Not sure if that means I'll get more power if I do run premium in it, but due to the current price differential I'll probably only run 89 octane.

While it's surprisingly energetic with the 93 tune, it's still a truck and I don't see enough benefit for the extra cost.

Also started speccing out some new 285/70/17 tires for it.

I was thinking about going with the Cooper Rugged Treks again as I really like them, but in all honesty I could probably do with a less aggressive AT tire for a better ride.

My buddy who owns a tire shop can get me anything from a LingLong Jinyu to a Michelin overnight.

Nothing like a new set of Chong Zhang Asphalt Splatterer Trail Kings to impress the locals.

Chong Zhang Asphalt Splatterer Trail Kings sound mighty impressive!!!
I had the same thought about the aggressive tires as I have a Jeep to handle the off road beatings but an FX4 should have something that looks the part. I went with a tire in the "On-Road All-Terrain" category, Continental Terrain Contact AT. They have been a great choice. Very quiet, ride nice and great traction and are lasting really well. More of the type in the link.

I think quiet and smooth ride is more important than maximum traction this time around.

I have a Jeep for the real off road stuff.

Hey!

Grok made me some!
