I saw a shadow black one at a dealer lot today - almost turned around to take a closer look to see if it was a hybrid. 😳
The AWD Hybrids are hard to find and there is not much wrangling the price on one.

While I would like the hybrid, I don't drive enough to ever make up the cost differential between it and the new 2025 leftover I'm looking at.

Yesterday, actually. I had been replacing batteries in my remote keypad every month for the last three months so I took the Ranger into the dealer to program a new one. The first one lasted over 6 years on the original battery. When they were done, they performed a complete inspection and sent me a video of it. They found the right rear axle seal was starting to leak and since I have the extended warranty that the work was covered. I could see it on the video. Next week I will drop if off for the seal repair and pick up a rental vehicle, covered under warranty, to drive since I live 30 miles from the dealer.

Finally got my ‘21 Tremor’s original battery changed. It’s been going to low power/save the battery mode for the last 5-6 months. A/S/S hasn’t activated for about a year. Had them put in the Lariat spec.
Had my '21 XLT 5 years and 4 days, traded it in with the original battery.

Crawled under the truck today to clean of some road kill goop that got all over everything. I noticed some "play" in the rear axle. There will obviously be some but not sure what's considered normal. Just now approaching 100k miles. Did a diff fluid change 20k miles ago and the oil didn't look too bad.

new exhaust tip. really wanted something in matte black but the go-rhino one i had on previously only went a little over a year before the finish started peeling, so decided to go with polished, hoping it will look good longer. its growing on me...

I am just like my Dad lol. I didn't wait for the ATs to wear out. I went to Quick Lane and had Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude HT all season highway tires put on it. One of the times that I should have left well enough alone. Oh well.

These will last longer on the highway, where it lives.
