If it’s Wi-Fi. Just set to automatically update from your home Wi-Fi and walk away. Eventually it will happen.

engine does not need to be on. Thread on using usb for update is here somewhere. Much faster

I tried the USB thing, couldn't get the truck to pull the update from the USB drive for some reason even though I watched a few different videos on it

Yesterday getting my windshield replaced for the 2nd time in 3 months, got a notice on Ford Pass that said the Rangers alarm triggered, "Ranger's security system has detected door opened and triggered the alarm at 5:39 07 Jul 2023 UTC". I didn't know I had an alarm.

The Lariat has the perimeter alarm it's at the top of your window sticker under safety/security. They must have hit the lock button on the door by accident then tried to open the door (window must have been down) and it set it off.

Ordered mine about 9 days ago and still pending. I'm expecting last week of July to receive it.

Window was down, no audible alarm. I do have the panic disabled with Forscan. Apparently my 2013 Fusion also had a perimiter alarm and this is the first time an alert has shown. Benefits of living in the sticks?

• The perimeter alarm is from the factory and it is activated by pressing your lock button twice (makes the horn sound). The alarm would go off if someone were to break your glass and open your door. You can test it by leaving a window down, activating the alarm and reaching in and opening the door. .

After seeing all the new paint chips from my road trip I just ordered Motorcraft Ingot Silver Touchup Paint for fixing and AVS Aeroskin ll to protect it.
