So many comments to make??. I don't think I would worry too much about drilling a small hole in the receiver.
Lol

I wouldn't worry with drilling a small hole much either.

Any void created in the towing system will effect the tow rating... Shrug.

I’ll admit, I had my doubts when I saw that earlier pic of the coiled up trim - all I could think of was that chrome door guard trim from back in the day. This IS NOT like that at all. ? Looks good Jake.

My bed decals might be next - all they say is “4x4”. 2WD Rangers are not sold in Canada and I don’t think there’s any question whether or not my truck is 4WD.

Not to be that guy... But I wouldn't drill into the hitch if I were planning on towing with it.

I know it is just a hole, but with the exception of one guy on here, I am not sure if anyone is qualified to tell you where and what size....
Sorry John. Can’t help but chuckle when someone’s wondering where and what size.

Most things don't look promising when freshly taken out of the package, especially things that can be rolled up...

Chrome stuff? Looks awful unless it's on a black vehicle. Only chrome accessories for me is a trim around the hvac controls unit and chrome grill inserts. I know it sounds weird but I know what it's like to be behind someone in traffic and having their shitty ebay/amazon chrome toy addon reflecting the sun right back into my eyes.... I don't wanna be that guy.

I’m on that team Jake - had a Jeep Laredo CJ something or other company vehicle once with a chrome grille. I’d see it reflecting all over the back of the vehicle in front of me as it bounced along and I’d back way off, knowing it was all they could see in their mirror - definitely didn’t want to be that guy.

Yeah on occasion I'll see my ranger letters shining at the persons rear-end in traffic. "Please don't hit their mirror" usually comes across my mind lol.

Nice. What holds the edge protector on ?

My dealer installed clear film part way down the door edge. It's peeling off in some areas.
3M tape that goes along the inner portion of the door.
Here's a link to the product https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KC2B4DW
Comes in Black, white, or clear.

Seems like it'll hold up well under most conditions.

I mean, if your concerned about the size, you're probably doing it wrong... IJS.
