I got a great deal on 18 inch factory rims with nearly new tires. Much better than the 16 inch steelies imho.

Amber got leveled!

Thank God I have a friend who is a master truck mechanic. Another case of misleading instructions; three hours trying to get the driver side done but only 30 minutes for the passenger side.

We shot trap this morning and I said I was going home to install a leveling kit and asked if he wanted to come have a few beers while I worked on it. Well the instructions made no mention of ball joint removal or coil spring compression so sh*t got weird. He stepped in (which was NOT my plan) and now she looks purty.

Updated some decal lettering and installed some Auxito low beams. Good day.

Don't need resisters for front turn signals just turn hyper blink off in Forscan.
I have a second question for you. Beyond the headlights, fogs and front signals, what else are you planning to change?
Thanks,
Kris

I drove mine around in a rare Texas snow storm. 6” north of Austin, with no salt or plows. 4H Snow Mode was truly required. Most fun I’ve had in a while. Even pulled someone back on the road!

Personally the only thing I haven't changed to LED yet are the CHMSL and rear license plate lights. My XLT has the LED taillights. I pulled the bulbs out of the bed lamps, don't use them and got sick of them coming on every time I opened the door.

Sorry, I meant outside lights haven't changed any inside yet. Have other mods to do first.

I getting ready for a similar conversion. It just looks cleaner!
Did you have to get load resistors for the switchbacks? Did you run into any complications?
I looking Auxito lows and highs, and JDM Astar yellow for the fogs. I still looking for the rest.
Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Kris
No resistors for the switchbacks. I went with Lasfit brand, canbus ready switchbacks (part number 7443 or 7444). Got them on Amazon. They look great! They’re very bright, but not too bright which I was worried about when I first bought them. If you go with Lasfit, you won’t need resistors or to mess with Forscan to turn off hyper flash. It’s literally just plug and play. Good luck.

Installed some amazon door sill scuff protectors. Seems like they'll work well. Hey, for less than $9 I'm impressed.

Swapped out the license plate lights and the bed lights in the third brake light with leds. Nothing major.

Still waiting on my rock sliders.... almost a month and a half from order and nothing. Eta says 1 month on the website. I'm patient though, as long as it's here by March I'm fine.

Did you have to use a load equalizer on the tag lamps? I tried to swap mine and they would not illuminate. I used Sylvania Zevo LED 6000k. I have a Lariat so maybe that's the issue with mine.
