Not a huge upgrade and fairly inexpensive, but wanted to put some side bars on the Ranger (my first upgrade). Couldn't believe how easy they were to install. Took less than an hour to put both sides on. Love it.

New to the forum and have really enjoyed reading everyone's posts. Bought a '22 XLT about a month ago (had been driving a 2004 Silverado since I bought it new) and have never had this much fun driving a truck. Absolutely love my Ranger.

It really does. Now, I'm all over the internet looking for the next mod. I hear that the tailgate damper is very popular. ;-)
Dampers are cool and a lot of fun! but you've opened a can of worms  ...

Did an oil change today at 7k on the Odometer
First was at 3k (don't know why I did it but I did)
Next will be at 10k miles and every 5k thereafter- I have OCD and 5k intervals works better in my brain
Made a pledge to stop looking at the damn Oil life monitor on Fordpass.

Not to my ranger but I did fiddle with the oil catch can I got yesterday. Added some fabric tape and scrap shrink tubing to prevent scratching.

Before you judge my awful bracket, I made this 4-5 years ago using only 2 vice grips, 2 drill bits for my drill, hack saw and sandpaper. Used the vice grips to bend the shape.

Finally swapped the basket to my rack. Took a matter of minutes, VS on the subi it seemed to take forever. The truck has much easier access.

I'm happy with the little overhang that makes access to the basket easier and uses the full width of the cross bar.

I can still carry our 3 kayaks up there with the basket, so I'm excited about that.
