I'm replacing my 2007 Toyota Yaris.
Bought it new in late 2006.

I did love that car. It saw me through a few interstate moves, camping trips, an oil crisis that had gas stupid high, and a ton of daily commuiting. I did some dumb mods on it when I was young, but it was solid.

So, while everyone here is praising the small size of the ranger, I'm adjusting to the massive size increase
HUGE difference! You must be loving it.

Replaced a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn edition. Finally gave up the ghost after 265K miles this past December. Had been eyeballing a Ranger since the relaunch, had to get used to the car payments again.....but I'll own this thing until it can't be owned no more. ; )

Mine replaced a 2018 GMC Canyon All Terrain. I was hit by a driver making an illegal left turn. Lots of damage, but not totaled. The shop did a good job fixing it, but I just didn't trust it in the long term. The incentives on a '19 made it workable.

I would have gotten another Canyon/Colorado, but the dealers don't seem all that interested in selling them. I came really close on a Silverado LT Trail Boss, but the behemoth size and stuff you don't get at a $50K sticker (Like Sirius/XM!) killed that.

I'm really happy I got a Ranger!

I also agree with Gizmokid. I sometimes miss my 2015 Mustang but, the Ranger is a lot more practical and works better for me now. It's a lot easier to get in and out of too.

I got out of a 1998 Ford Explorer Limited in two wheel drive with a 5.0 V8 in it. I bought the Explorer roughly two years ago for $50 with 156,000 miles on it. It was pretty disgusting! But it cranked right up on four year old gas with just a new battery. It had been left in employee lot by a co-worker for four years! Eventually it was in the way and when we found out whose it was, I offered him $50 for it. I spent a couple months cleaning it up and I fell in love with it. I had to strip out the whole interior to clean it all and fix a lot of small broken things. But in the end, it was a 22 year old vehicle and the rattles and little things that would break on it started to annoy me a little so I got into a Ranger. The Explorer will be off to another co-worker for his daughter to drive to high school.

My last two vehicles were Mitsubishi Outlander's, both were leases. I needed more trailing capacity and got the Ranger. Tried to get a Tacoma but they would not deal. Happy with the Ford, but I have not got to use it yet, hopefully we will get the trailer on the road soon. I have not had a Ford for a long time. Had a 76 Econoline for 13 years, straight six, three on the tree, armstrong steering, I was young, I did the inside, side window, moon roof, vent, wide tires all the things people did back then to vans, and one other thing it rusted like all good Fords did. I guess it took me a long time to get over that.

2004 Mazda 3 hatchback. It currently has 210,000 miles on it and the only thing I've done is brakes, clutch, and regular maintenance. I'm going to sell it to fund the Ford Fox Coilover suspension and spray-in bed liner.

Mine replaced a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk I bought used when I first started college. Now that I'm graduating in a couple weeks I decided it was time for my first new vehicle. Couldn't be happier with my Lariat FX4, and plan on keeping it!
