2006 Tacoma. This will be tough because this has been a good truck. My Gen1 Tacoma was very good. This one has been “good”. But the latest drivetrain in the Tacoma is garbage and I’m not going to wait until 2023 for the next gen. I’ve driven 6 rangers and really think it’s a worthy next truck for me.

Replacing my 2004 F-150 SuperCrew Lariat 4X4. Been an awesome truck for 15.5 years, but it's time to upgrade to newer technology and better fuel economy. Will still be hauling a kayak in the back with a bed extender in the Ranger. This picture was from yesterday's trip to the Gulf. Sold the truck when I got home. Took less than 24 hours to sell the F-150.

Just curious what you listed the truck on? Craigslist? Some other site/app? I will be selling my Ranger in the next couple months (I can't really sell it until I get my new Ranger since I need it until then). I'm always a bit leery of Craigslist. Last couple times I used it I got more flaky people than I could count.

I just listed it on Facebook (Marketplace) since it was free. Got about 12 inquiries Saturday afternoon and evening. A few more Sunday morning. Then my phone rang while I was out in the Gulf in the kayak and the guy had cash in hand and what I would take for it. I did put a lot of pictures inside and out (engine compartment too). The dealer offered $2500 less than what I sold it for. No way was I trading it in...lol! Didn't have to sell it to get the Ranger.

Just ordered my Bakflip MX4 hard folding tonneau for the new Ranger. They told me the cover should ship by the end of the week.

Killed my 2003 Ford Focus ZX3 last Tuesday. It had 222K miles on the 2.0L DOHC Zetec. Took me from NorCal to SoCal and back several times. Even went up to Tahoe in the snow a few times. Outlasted 4 girlfriends. Undergrad, post-bac, graduate school. Survived a couple years in San Francisco. Killed by Texas.

Now I have a truck... in Texas...

2012 Jeep SRT8. I had the throttle body bored, Borla ATAK Axle back, lowered it, blacked it out & debadged and then supercharged. It dyno'd at 550 AWHP awith a 0-60 of 4.5 seconds. She eventually ate her transmission and rear diff.

I rarely used all the ponies, so it was time for something new. And I'm loving a quiet, smooth-running pickup. Guess I'm getting old.

2017 Tacoma wanted an access cab at the time looked at one test drove wanted to leave deposit they wouldn’t let me went back next day to get it and it was sold talked me in to this which was ok extra space always comes in handy but it wasn’t what I wanted

2016 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited - Black Bear

Have always been a pickup guy and had an F150 prior to going with the Jeep, but needed a 4X4 that could be flat towed behind a motorhome and didn't like the Colorado/Canyon so I thought I could adapt to the Jeep. 2017 Ford Fusion Sport AWD. Ill miss the 2.7 litre. Looking forward to my Ranger. I have a VIN now and a " estimated " shipping date. I already named my Ranger … Billy Cranston. ( probably not the first to use that name ).
